  • I've always thought of the effects field as being something that affected the eater/drinker, which the explosion doesn't since it occurs during the prep.

    • I didn't realize there was enough information to date the story, but I checked the date note on the story's article "During or prior to 146 BBY" and it says this, think it works? "A Recipe for Death" establishes that Strono Tuggs has served in Takodana Castle for more than twenty years, and Star Wars: The Force Awakens: The Visual Dictionary establishes that Tuggs served in the castle for centuries before the Battle of Takodana, which Star Wars: Galactic Atlas places in 34 BBY. As such, "A Recipe for Death" must take place at least 180 years before the battle, or 146 BBY. (Seems based on calculating from "more than twenty years" and centuries meaning "at least 200 years." We don't have an article for that year, but making an article for that year that amounts to "maybe this event occured in this year" feels weird) Immi Thrax RainbowRebellion2 (talk) 21:26, 20 August 2021 (UTC)
