  1. Good job. Another obscure movie character becomes a status article :) Hanzo Hasashi 02:18, August 12, 2011 (UTC)

Kilson
  • In the Intro, "DV-692 stunned Organa and escorted him to Vader and then to the Devastator's prison." Who is "him?" Did you intend to say "her?"
    • Yeh, I mean "her". Darth Morrt 01:58, August 12, 2011 (UTC)
  • Just a suggestion, but perhaps you should move the trooper's height to the P&t section.
    • Moved. Darth Morrt 01:58, August 12, 2011 (UTC)
  • The first sentence of the second paragraph of the Bio is a bit of a run-on. Try cutting it into two sentences.
    • Split. Darth Morrt 01:58, August 12, 2011 (UTC)
  • In the Bts, "In 2005, the video game Star Wars: Battlefront II stated that he was a member of the 501 Legion and a Jango-clone." This sentence is a little misleading. The game stated that all stormtroopers in the 501st were Fett clones, and that the 501st were the ones to board the Tantive IV. The sentence should be rephrased to show that.
    • Reworded. Darth Morrt 01:58, August 12, 2011 (UTC)
  • "As highlighted in the 2007 StarWars.com Visual Guides, DV-692's helmet was missing a heat dispenser vent decal." A little more context is needed here. In which adaption of the film is 692 missing heat dispenser, and where exactly is that decal located on the helmet?
    • Done. You can see the Visual Guide here. Darth Morrt 01:58, August 12, 2011 (UTC)
  • Looks good otherwise. By the way, in case you didn't know, we're using 692 for the barn-burner. :P Kilson(Let's have a chat) 14:56, August 11, 2011 (UTC)
  • My apologies, one more objection. In the Bio, "Some stormtroopers broke into the Tantive IV's bridge and captured the Rebel Captain Raymus Antilles. One of 692's squadmates reported to the assault commander that Vader was coming aboard the Rebel ship." I don't see how this is directly relevant to 692. Was he among the troopers that broke into the bridge? Why do you need to mention what one of 692's squadmates did? Kilson(Let's have a chat) 23:57, August 12, 2011 (UTC)
    • I supposed that since his squadmate was there, he was there also. But after I rechecked the source, I've changed my mind. The squadmate wasn't there. He just arrived and reported to the assault commander. I've cut these sentences. Darth Morrt 01:44, August 13, 2011 (UTC)
Attack of the Clone
  • Considering the fact that the Fett clones were originally for the Republic, I'd recommend looking into the fact if he was ever a clone trooper—or, at the very least, if he was part of the Rise of the Empire era. Unless there really is no info available about this, I'd be a little hesitant to only include the Rebellion era in the article. Please see what you can find, or if there's anything more that sources say about him. CC7567 (talk) 03:34, August 26, 2011 (UTC)
    • I haven't found anything that backs that he was a clone trooper or lived during the Rise of the Empire era. I was looking for info about the Fett clones, but haven't found any mention of stopping the useage of the Fett-template. It is possible that DV-692 was a Sparti Fett clone who lived only during Rebellion era. Darth Morrt 09:15, August 26, 2011 (UTC)
      • That's fine then. If that's the case, however, I would suggest mentioning in the article that Fett was originally the template for clone troopers for the Grand Army of the Republic. You don't have to necessarily explicitly state that DV-692 was a clone trooper (since he isn't confirmed as one), but it might be beneficial to the reader to make that connection, even if it's not totally confirmed, since Fett was so notable as the prime clone. See what you can do. CC7567 (talk) 04:36, August 27, 2011 (UTC)

Prepare to be savaged…
  • He shows up about a minute into the old-school film strip, which needs an article of its own. ~SavageBOB sig 01:05, August 29, 2011 (UTC)
    • The film strip uses the panels of the Contemporary Motivators: Star Wars. Is this video an old video, or is it a new video in retro style? If it is old, shouldn't it be earlier in the list, after or before the Contemorary Motivators? Darth Morrt 02:42, August 29, 2011 (UTC)
      • Interesting that it's Contemporary Motivators. I'm pretty sure it's a legit, old-school film strip from the time. If you watch all the way to the end, you'll see a copyright date and information on who produced it. ~SavageBOB sig 03:00, August 29, 2011 (UTC)
        • Article done. Darth Morrt 15:56, September 5, 2011 (UTC)
  • The Art of Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope contain the full film script, and thus include his lines. They should be added to the "Sources" list.
    • Done. Darth Morrt 02:42, August 29, 2011 (UTC)
  • He's mentioned (not by name) in The Sounds of Star Wars on p. 58. It says that the sound of his stun gun was an ARP synthesizer playing a note with a a "rising pitch and a delay" to make it buzz. Then the sound of an air cannon was added into that.
    • Added. Thanks for the info. Darth Morrt 02:42, August 29, 2011 (UTC)
  • Same book and page number reveals that his voice was performed by Terry McGovern, a disc jockey, who Ben Burtt recorded saying his lines over a walkie-talkie. All stormtroopers were performed by disc jockeys in ANH according to this page. Do you have other stormtrooper articles you're working on? It lists the other voices as Scott Beach (one of the troopers in the tractor beam hatch), Morgan Upton, and Jerry Walter.
    • Unidentified 501st stormtrooper is currently nominated. Unidentified stormtrooper commander (Tantive IV) is already a GA. I am going through the script of ANH, currently working on Fixer. The other troopers are far, far away. Darth Morrt 02:42, August 29, 2011 (UTC)
  • The scene was filmed sometime between June 29 and July 16, 1976 according to The Making of Star Wars: The Definitive Story Behind the Original Film, p. 210. This also probably counts as an indirect mention, since it talks about "the stormtroopers stun Leia." The shot was one of the last few of principle photography in the UK (p. 214). ~SavageBOB sig 01:30, August 29, 2011 (UTC)
    • Added. Darth Morrt 02:42, August 29, 2011 (UTC)
  • As a SW voice actor, Terry McGovern should probably be given an article here, rather than a Wikipedia link. ~SavageBOB sig 03:01, August 29, 2011 (UTC)
    • Created. Darth Morrt 15:56, September 5, 2011 (UTC)
  • Also, the bit I quoted above should not be quoted in the article; I just couldn't think of a good way to rephrase it in my own words. That's your job. ;P ~SavageBOB sig 03:02, August 29, 2011 (UTC)

Moffship
  • Preliminary objection: The affiliation field of the infobox is a little too crowded. Could you condense it a bit? I'd say the Empire, Stormtrooper Corps, and 501st Legion are enough; I'd only list the specific squad if it had a name, since "A stormtrooper squad" looks unencyclopedic. Grand Moff Tranner Imperial Department of Military Research (Comlink) 20:40, September 2, 2011 (UTC)

      • I'll do a full review when I have more time. Grand Moff Tranner Imperial Department of Military Research (Comlink) 14:28, September 9, 2011 (UTC)
  • A few minor things. First, I'd suggest inserting a separate reference for "DV-692" as soon as you mention his designation in the bio, since you can't source that to Battlefront II.
    • Addressed. Darth Morrt 13:02, September 11, 2011 (UTC)
  • Also, I don't believe you can source "and he was assigned to lead a squad" to A New Hope.
    • Fixed. The junior novel states, he was the "squad's leader". Darth Morrt 13:02, September 11, 2011 (UTC)
  • That should be all. Grand Moff Tranner Imperial Department of Military Research (Comlink) 20:08, September 10, 2011 (UTC)
    • Thanks for the review. Darth Morrt 13:02, September 11, 2011 (UTC)

  • Not an objection, just a question, is it necessary to repeat the fact he was a lower ranking officer in the personality and traits? Hanzo Hasashi 14:52, August 11, 2011 (UTC)
    • There is too little to say in his P&t, so I think it is fine to mention his "rank" again. Darth Morrt 01:59, August 12, 2011 (UTC)
