Three in the Afternoon
- Nominated by: --Darth Praxus- Stover Lover 19:55, October 8, 2010 (UTC)
- Nomination comments: I've done a lot of work to try to get this page to FA status, and hopefully I've succeeded. It's all my work. I don't know if you can elevate real-world articles to FA status, but I'm going to try!

Yes! Real-world articles can definitely be FA's. :^D
- An out-of-universe article should not have a behind-the-scenes section. The entire article is behind the scenes, with the plot summary being the major exception --- what you have in "behind the scenes" should be moved before plot summary to a section called "Development", or, if there's enough info, two sections called "Conception" and "Production". The
out-of-universe layout guide on starwars.wikia.com (backup link not verified!) isn't official yet, but hopefully will be soon. Granted, it'll be for published SW works rather than fan films, but the two are similar enough that they should be consistent with each other. - One-sentence paragraphs should be avoided.
- The "Easter eggs" section is interesting, but it's currently a miscellaneous list of trivia. It should be rewritten to tell a kind of a story (something like... "The developers placed several easter eggs in their films. For example, Three in the Afternoon has R2-D2, blah blah blah...")
- Quotes should only be placed at the beginning of subsections.
- The infobox needs to be (completely) sourced.
- "Notes and references" is a mess. It should be its own section, not a subsection of "External links". And the links should contain text telling you what they are, not just numbers.
- The four references to "Lightsaber crystal", "dual-phase lightsabers"... those aren't references. Those are just... words. Did you mean to make them links to those wookieepedia articles? Even if so, a wookieepedia article can't be a reference.
- A lot of context is needed, all over the article:
- In "Easter eggs", context is needed on R2-D2.
- In "Final chapter" --- what is Attack of the Clones?
- In "Lightsaber construction and combat", you mention the Original Trilogy --- which one? Is it Star Wars? The article doesn't say.
- In Plot: The article opens by talking about Corey and Pruitt. Who are Corey and Pruitt? Who is Travis? Context is needed.
- Every paragraph needs to be sourced.
- I love your spirit! And I always love when out-of-universe articles are FAN'd. But this one needs nearly a complete rewrite before it's ready for the FAN page. I don't mean to discourage you, but it'd probably be best to request that the nomination be withdrawn so you can get it up to speed. If you need any help or advice, I and probably a bunch of others would be totally willing. Menkooroo 03:14, October 9, 2010 (UTC)

Vote to remove nomination (Inq only)
Setting aside the current controversy regarding fan films, this article is not of a sufficient quality to be nominated as a FA. As Menkooroo has pointed out, there isn't a development section. The notes and references section is disorganized and possibly not all inclusive which would violate rule 3. The flow of the article is haphazard and the images are poorly placed which violate rules 1 and 4 to an extent. There are quotes in the middle of sections, which violates rule 13. All together, this article would still need quite a bit of work before it would be ready for nomination. Cylka-talk- 19:20, October 9, 2010 (UTC)

Please read the nomination rules before attempting to nominate an article for Featured article status. Our standards are tough, our reviewers even more so. This is what happens when you don't follow directions. Toprawa and Ralltiir 19:32, October 9, 2010 (UTC)
Per Cylka. While I encourage the nominator to work on this article (assuming that it's kept per the TC), it's not ready in its current state. CC7567 (talk) 19:32, October 9, 2010 (UTC)
