Objections

• Eh... I dunno... I mean it's good but... the force? I mean this article could (and should) probably be one of the longest articles around. A simple check up, brought to my attention that, for example, there is not a single mention that the ysalamiri are force-free. I am sure that other subjects are absent or neglected. --UVnet 02:47, 11 May 2006 (UTC)

      • Actually there're three uncaptioned images: File:PowerFromWithin.jpg, File:The Force.jpg, File:JediAndRogueCooperation.jpg. EDIT: I checked the history, and it seems like Starkeiller has removed the two captions because they're incorrect...? —Mirlen 20:19, 23 May 2006 (UTC)
        • I agree it needs captions and maybe some pictures of the force being used but i give my support.
• Come on this is just like nominating the lightsaber. I'm sure that these two pages have been viewed the most. Featured articles should bring up high quality articles that are about something that is less obscure than the force --Dumac 00:07, 6 July 2006 (UTC)
  • This has no relevance to whether or not it should be featured. Refer to "What makes a featured article" at the top of the page. Featured article is a status that any well-written article can deserve, regardless of prominence. - Breathesgelatin 03:42, 6 July 2006 (UTC)
• I don't think that it is necasary to have the Force as a Featured article. Many people already look at this thread, and everyone knows that it is there.--User:Zinnos

      • I don't think it's something you have to worry about, but perhaps inserting quotations for each major section as opposed to a subsection? —Mirlen 01:53, 23 May 2006 (UTC)

• Although I think that some of the pictures (rather, all of the pictures) need captions, as some are lacking those, I believed this article is well detailed and should be a featured article.
