Can't get enough of that sugar crisp
  • On the run: You mention that Fel wants to find her before you mention that she fled. S' kinda confusing.
    • I suppose it would be. Havac 03:31, July 22, 2010 (UTC)
  • In the Unknown regions: Was the Empire of the Hand guarding the UR... or were they guarding the known galaxy from the UR?
    • Both? Havac 03:31, July 22, 2010 (UTC)
      • Yeah, I guess they would have to guard the bases they established there.
  • The trap that Zsinj lures Wedge into --- can you link to whichever battle it is? I'd totally sofixit if I had read the book!
    • Read the book! Havac 03:31, July 22, 2010 (UTC)
  • Invasion and upheaval: Were there Chiss forces other than Jag's squadron at the Final Battle of Coruscant? If so, it would probably be worth mentioning after "The attack increased support among the Chiss for Fel and his advocacy for joining the war."
    • Nothing beyond Jag's squadron. Havac 03:31, July 22, 2010 (UTC)
  • Is Fury in 41 ABY? I thought Revelation was the first LOTF book in the new year.
    • Given the placement of Invincible in the middle of the year, and the internal dating in Invincible, Revelation, and Fury, yeah, it's in 41. Havac 03:31, July 22, 2010 (UTC)
      • I'm not so sure about that... a couple of notes from Fury:
        • "now, some forty standard years later, relics of that era still littered the pad" (opening of chapter four)
        • "Leia nodded agreeably. "Yes, I keep hearing that sort of thing. Across forty years now, the same speech. One of the downsides of being 'old.' "" (opening pages of chapter 26)
      • If you can point me to the internal dating you're talking about, though, I'm open to being convinced. Menkooroo 03:58, July 22, 2010 (UTC)
        • Well, that's rounding. Invincible dates Revelation as starting five weeks before Invincible opens and taking place over two weeks; it's three weeks after the Battle of Fondor. Revelation starts twelve weeks after Mara's death, and when Fury takes place, Jacen has spent "months" flow-walking with Tahiri, which started right after Mara's death. Even if we take that as only a bare minimum of two months from Mara's death, that's only two months and a week between Fury and Invincible -- and Invincible is dated 41.5 ABY. And there's no way two months in qualifies as 41.5. So that pulls Fury into 41 ABY. Havac 04:57, July 22, 2010 (UTC)
          • What's the source for Invincible being at 41.5 ABY? I don't mean to be difficult here, but you are disagreeing with everyone else on Wookieepedia :^P , so I just want to be really sure. Menkooroo 07:21, July 22, 2010 (UTC)
            • I can't find the original reference from Sue, and to be honest, I don't care. You can do whatever you want with the date. But anyway, Fury takes at least five weeks. At least three weeks elapse during the "the war raged on" sequence, and the events on either end of that have to add up to at least two weeks, if not three. And it's relatively early in the story -- suggested to be before the three weeks elapse by the way the "the war raged on" sequence is written -- that it's established to be "months" since the flow-walking with Tahiri started, which was itself a week after Mara's death. So we've got an absolute maximum of about two weeks between the end of Fury and Revelation, with context suggesting that it's more a matter of days. So unless Revelation basically starts on New Year's Day, I'd be a lot more confident placing the end of Fury in 41 ABY than 40 ABY. And I'm not aware of any actual sources that place Fury in 40 ABY. If you're not happy with it, go ahead and change it, or perhaps best to just remove the dating altogether. I'm not married to it. But that's my reasoning. Havac 09:46, July 22, 2010 (UTC)
              • Well, Fury begins in the immediate wake of Inferno (Kashyyyk is still burning), so something's gotta take place on New Year's, ya know? I suspect we won't know for sure until the Newer Essential Chronology is made, but in the meantime, I changed "In 41 ABY, he succeeded" to "By 41 ABY, he had succeeded". Hopefully everyone will be happy now. Menkooroo 13:45, July 22, 2010 (UTC)
  • Just one more: Can you give a bit of context on the Galactic Civil War? After the Battle of Yavin is mentioned, it's left unclear just who Fel was battling at Ord Binir. The Rebels are mentioned a couple of paragraphs later, but it's only indirectly stated that they're at war with the Empire. A brief initial explanation about the war, similar to how the Yuuzhan Vong war is done, would be just peachy. That's all from me --- great job! Menkooroo 14:26, July 21, 2010 (UTC)
    • Some context and move-up added. I didn't go too deep, since the name "Rebel Alliance" kind of renders, "a group rebelling against the Empire" redundant. If you still want more, let me know. Havac 03:31, July 22, 2010 (UTC)

  • Just one - Invasion and upheaval: Might be worth briefly mentioning why Luke and the others were looking for Zonama Sekot. Though it may not be too important to Syal, the section as it stands raises the question of "why would they bother going all the way to Csilla in the middle of a war?"
    • Added, to what extent I could. There's the problem that they didn't really know what they wanted Zonama Sekot for before they got there; they just had the Force-feeling it was important. Havac 03:31, July 22, 2010 (UTC)
      • Heh, well that's what I get for not reading Force Heretic. Xicer9Atgar(Combadge) 03:38, July 22, 2010 (UTC)

  • Third paragraph of Romance doesn't make it clear that she only reveals the truth about herself and Wedge when Fel proposes. Can you make some note about her telling him for the first time. Green Tentacle (Talk) 20:25, September 26, 2010 (UTC)
    • Excellent catch. Added it in. Havac 21:07, September 28, 2010 (UTC)

  • About the intro, I'm not sure if three paragraphs are necessary. If they are, feel free to redo it as it was.—Jedi Kasra (comlink) 00:23, July 26, 2010 (UTC)
