- The article does not comply with a great deal of requirements for FANs. First, there is a horde of unsourced information in violation of Rule 11. Second, I'm sure there are a lot more sources than the small amount listed, also in violation of Rule 11. Third, there should be no sourcing in the introduction, in adherence with WP:S. Fourth, is that all that can be said in the article? I'm quite sure that as this was a major galactic conflict, the article should be a lot longer than what it is right now. Fifth, if there are available quotes, one should be used for every section, as there is no reason not to do so. Sixth, lists like the plain "Key figures" one should be avoided if they do not explain or detail the participants in the war and how they were affected by it. And even then, there may be issues beyond those I've just mentioned. Simply put, all of these should have been fixed before this was nominated, and as it stands, this article doesn't seem to be ready for the FAN just yet. I commend your willingness to work on this article, but if you want to FA it, I would suggest taking more time to put solid work into fixing all of these problems—and if any of them wind up holding up the nomination, you might consider taking it off the FAN in order to work on it without any sort of pressure from reviews. - Thanks for your advice. How do I remove it from FAN? Do I just delete the section? --Gungan Jedi 21 23:18, May 23, 2010 (UTC)

We should really just yank these when the nominator requests it. Also, when the nominator is blocked. -- Darth Culator (Talk) 00:14, May 24, 2010 (UTC)
I thought we did remove noms when nominators requested it, or is that just on the GAN? Either way, per Culator. Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 00:38, May 24, 2010 (UTC)
