Objections
- Someone lengthen the intro, and I'll put it in the queue. StarNeptuneTalk to me! 07:31, 17 September 2006 (UTC)
- Expanded. Hope that's satisfactory. - Lord Hydronium 08:29, 17 September 2006 (UTC)
- I just put a NPOV tag on the page. It should be obvious that the article is full of POV. Furthermore, several images are poorly placed, quotes are filled with ridiculously excessive links, and the text looks clunky towards the end of the article. --Imp 17:43, 25 September 2006 (UTC)
- Remove the ROTS emphasis. The lead quote stinks - it says nothing about the character of Gunray, and the photo should be from TPM, his most prominent and most significant appearance. .... 06:08, 11 October 2006 (UTC)
Comments
- I think it is a great article, no read links, excellent organization of the text and he is a major character.--CountDooku13(Hyper-Communications Cartel) 20:41, 10 September 2006 (UTC)
- I won't say yes until this has some quotes, at least one a section, there must be lots to use! Jedi Dude 18:01, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
- I agree with Jedi dude. Quotes rock. Other thing. I hate the main picture right now. I know we should use a recent pic. , but like they say with Han, Luke, and leia, He hasn't changed at all. When I think of Gunray, it's what he looks like in Episode 1. All that's changed from there to Epsode 3 was his HAT. agree? --Jabbathehuttgartogg
18:51, 12 September 2006 (UTC) - I have added more quotes to his article. Also, no offense "Jabba"(If you don't mind me calling you that for short) I like his picture and there is no need in my opinion to remove it.--CountDooku13(Hyper-Communications Cartel) 22:25, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
- Everyone calls me that and I'm changing my signiture to fit that new nickname Jedi Dude started. The image conversation is on his talk page. looks like it's staying. -- Jabbathehuttgartogg

- Hmmm what did I do mate? Jedi Dude 22:42, 12 September 2006 (UTC)
- Nothing bad, just your the first person to call me "Jabba". OH, the article, I'm nutral. Can't decide. -- Jabba

- With the quotes this is worthy Jedi Dude 20:11, 14 September 2006 (UTC)
- I do not know about Imperialles, but the quotes are very good(especially since I put the majority of them in there[not that I am biased]), and I am a little offended. The Images are well put toghether, the links in the quote are important and vital, and after reading the article three times over I have not been able to see any bias or mixed point of view. I wish Imperialles to elaborate on his accusations, he does not need to apologize, but simply if he feels that way, provide more proof other then his word(Yes I know he is an admin.) and let us all resolve this once and for all.--CountDooku13(Hyper-Communications Cartel) 11:15, 28 September 2006 (UTC)
- I just wish it was the TPM image. .... 11:46, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
- 4dotE, the image policy is that it must be from his latest appearance unless there is a severe difference in quality, therefore the ROTS image is correct. Atarumaster88 (Audience Chamber) 19:29, 23 October 2006 (UTC)
- Please link to this policy. I keep hearing about it, but I am not sure it exists. It may be a general practice and I'm not even arguing that we shouldn't generally stick to this (particularly with film characters), but I want confirmation that this policy is real. I don't believe it is... - breathesgelatinTalk 00:07, 25 October 2006 (UTC)
- No problem. It does not exist in the category for policies and is more of a general guideline, but here are the two CT threads where it was discussed: here andhere. It could probably be fleshed out more, but it was designed to allow breathing room because the quality/availability of images for characters varies greatly. Atarumaster88 (Audience Chamber) 18:02, 26 October 2006 (UTC)
- Those are both very recent discussions, and I don't see any sort of consensus or guideline arising from either of those threads. - breathesgelatinTalk 04:47, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
- And there was an even more recent discussion where the consensus was that we SHOULDN'T adhere to guidelines in the infobox. I just think that a TPM portrait would be the most suitable for Gunray...and I know there was a really good quote about him from LOE - Grievous said it...but I don't have the book. At any rate, the lead quote is just plain awful, and needs to be replaced. .... 10:57, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
