  3. Inqvote Generally speaking, in regards to basic textual typos, errors, and inconsistencies in the prose and overall basic Wookieepedia/wiki formatting, this article was awful. It depresses me when three people who write virtually nothing but Clone Wars stuff all fail to capitalize mention of the "clone wars" in the article. I expect a lot more from the three people who wrote/reviewed this article before me. Toprawa and Ralltiir 04:57, June 21, 2011 (UTC)

Because I did his buddy
  • After the group acquired the starfighters, General Skywalker developed a plan to destroy the Malevolence with the newly acquired bombers by ambushing the Malevolence near the Kaliida Nebula. Could you replace the second "Malevolence" with a synonym.
    • Synonymed
  • You can't source the "Resolute"s name to the episode.
    • Nope, correctly sourced
  • I recall a debate that we only should use "Confederates" or "Seperatists" ? See here.
    • All Separatists references changed to Confederates
  • Is it really stated in the episode that Naboo is in the Mid Rim?
    • Fixed
  • However, his squadron, as a tribute to their fallen comrade, were able to disable both of the Malevolence's ion pulse cannons, which allowed an incoming Republic fleet to destroy the Malevolence soon after. Not correct, the fleet did not destroy the ship.
    • Corrected
  • A little piece of info from the Clone Wars Character Encyclopedia is missing. Check Broadsides P&T.
    • I believe I added this.
  • Otherwise very nice work. Clone Commander Lee Talk 17:41, May 4, 2011 (UTC)
    • Thanks for the review Lee. :) Kilson(Let's have a chat) 22:04, May 4, 2011 (UTC)

Jangston
  • Not really an objection, but would you consider flipping the Attack on Malevolence section quote with the lead quote? I think the Malevolence one better describes who he is, instead of having some random Ahsoka quote. Up to you. :P
    • Sure, done!
  • I filled in many missing parameters from your infobox during my copyedit. Be sure to double check this next time.
    • Thanks
      • Np. :)
  • You could mention where Matchstick, Skywalker and clan discussed their plan to attack the Malevolence before you go on and say they took a shortcut through a nebula.
    • Inserted
  • Some context is needed for neebray manta
    • Added
  • "When the massive warship fired its ion pulse cannon on the squadron, Matchstick's engines failed while attempting evasive maneuvers due to the damage inflicted by the neebray manta." Previously you mentioned that the manta caused damaged to his bomber without mentioning any location. This sentence is suggesting that the manta caused damaged to the engine alone. IIRC, in the episode, Matchstick's starfighter was hit and started on fire on the same side. Possibly you could mention a location beforehand otherwise it's unclear.

  • I'm not familiar with CWA (yeah, still :P), so you might have to ask CC or someone who has access to the game, but did it mention anything about Matchstick being Shadow 1, leader, or any mentioning of a leadership call sign? Since he is referred to as the commander of the squadron in the article, I would assume he served as Shadow leader prior to Skywalker taking the leadership of the Squadron for the Malevolence mission. Otherwise I don't understand why he is being referred to as Shadow 2 as the commander of the squadron. This instance actually reminds me of Axe who served as Blue 2 in the episode, albeit the S1 guide mentioned he was originally Blue leader prior to the Battle of Ryloth. Just noticed the BTS note. Stupid CWA. Possibly a twoconflicting tag could suffice for this issue?
    • I don't believe that is necessary. Although this is a discrepancy, it isn't necessarily conflicting canon. Both Matchstick and Skywalker could have commanded the squadron jointly or something like that.
      • Yeah, you're right.
  • "Each Y-wing would also have a gunner on board to operate the bombers' ion cannon turrets, with Tano serving as Skywalker's gunner" Sort of nitpicky, but do you think this has any relevance to Matchstick himself? Granted this was in the episode, but this article isn't an episode summary, but rather Matchstick's article. I don't mind if you keep this or not, just throwing this out there. Just the way it reads around that paragraph, it reads like an episode summary. Maybe that's just me.
    • I thought it was necessary to point out that Matchstick had a gunner aboard, and it also allowed me to point out that Tano was part of the mission.
      • lolahsoka. :P But yeah, I see what you mean. No worries, like I said I don't mind either way.
  • Like in the intro, could you mention where his bomber was hit in the bio?
    • Added, as well as another tidbit of information I forgot.
  • So the Malevolence itself deployed those Vulture droids? :P
    • Yes, I believe so. Am I wrong?
      • Better
  • TCW's logic is very interesting—one space station to house 60,000 clones, and yet the galaxy itself is huge. XD JangFett (Talk) 02:30, May 22, 2011 (UTC)
    • Gotta love it. :P Thanks for the review Jang. Kilson(Let's have a chat) 03:15, May 22, 2011 (UTC)
      • No problem, Kilson. JangFett (Talk) 03:47, May 22, 2011 (UTC)
Attack of the Clone
  • This is almost too minor to be considered an objection, but it is "hangar 8122" or "Hangar 8122"? Please check the capitalization.
    • Hangar. Changed.
  • Similarly, is it "neebray manta" or "Neebray manta" (and "Neebray" or "neebray")? Please try to pay attention to these inconsistencies.
    • neebray. Changed.
  • To a certain degree, I agree with Toprawa's sentiments. Please be more careful in the future. CC7567 (talk) 19:40, June 25, 2011 (UTC)
    • Agreed, thank you CC. Kilson(Let's have a chat) 01:40, June 29, 2011 (UTC)
Matchstick
  • I'm having a bit of trouble following the logic in the second paragraph of "Attack on the Malevolence." What does Naboo have to do with where Grievous will attack next? Can you explain it a touch more in-depthly?
  • In the same paragraph: "since Grievous had previously attacked a medical convoy" --- is this the same attack referenced in the previous sentence? The way it's worded makes it sound like something else that happened a while ago. Can you clean up this whole paragraph a little bit? I also think it might be worth combining with the next paragraph; as it stands, it's pretty short and doesn't contain a single mention of Matchstick.
  • Is this guy Matchstick's?
  • Can you reword this sentence: "When asked by Koon if his ship was in stable condition, Matchstick claimed that the damage was insignificant and continued on with his squadron." --- to be more of a detail of what happened and/or Matchstick's attitude, rather than a detail of who said what? Recounting conversations always brings to mind the dreaded "play-by-play" objection. :P
  • A little nitpicky, but is one episode of TCW enough to say that he "normally" shaved his head?
  • Is there any way to make the image caption of the bts image more bts-ish? Something like "A promotional shot of Matchstick" or something?
  • All from me! Good job. Menkooroo 11:04, July 3, 2011 (UTC)
