  • It feels like the B&A could be expanded a bit. I added red noses as the infobox image has them that colour. Perhaps something on their hand/feet digit numbers. Are they covered in fur?
    • Added something on digit numbers but I can't really tell whether that's intended to be skin or fur. Green Tentacle (Talk) 15:48, July 18, 2010 (UTC)
  • A touch of context on the choreamnos? If they are non-sentient, perhaps a note in the S&C that they would perform for non-intelligent species. This may be what you were alluding to with the blase comment (Do I detect a blase tree goat pun?) but I think it could be made more explicit.
    • Added. But the pun stays. :P Green Tentacle (Talk) 15:48, July 18, 2010 (UTC)
  • It's worth noting in the BTS the existence of the planet Jinda in the Tapani sector. It may also be worth asking Fry or Wallace if there is meant to be a connection between the two. Even if you don't get a definitive answer, it would be informative. --Eyrezer 01:58, July 16, 2010 (UTC)
    • As far as I could see, Jinda only appeared on a map here. --Eyrezer 06:03, July 17, 2010 (UTC)
      • That map identifies it as a system, not a planet. It's also mentioned once in the text of the Lords of the Expanse GM's guide as a system under House Calipsa. I've mentioned the system in BTS but I'm not even sure we should have an article on the planet. Green Tentacle (Talk) 15:48, July 18, 2010 (UTC)
        • That looks good to me. I'll delete the planet article based on your recommentdation. --Eyrezer 21:43, July 18, 2010 (UTC)
Prepare to be Savaged...
  • Is there nothing from Wallace's or Provonost's design notes that can be added? Check the final paragraph of Dulok to see what I'm talking about. I'm pretty sure there is some info to be mined from their blogs. [Due to my limited availability, I hereby grant permission to any Inquisitor to strike this objection immediately should he or she decide that it has been addressed.] ~ SavageBob 18:08, July 19, 2010 (UTC)
    • Didn't even know that stuff existed. Turns out to be loaded with useful information, which has now been added. Thanks. Green Tentacle (Talk) 14:13, July 20, 2010 (UTC)
  • If they're mentioned the 2nd edition of AGTTSWU, they're most likely in the 3rd.
    • They are. No new info, but added to sources already.
  • They're mentioned in SWInsider "A Star Wars CELibration" — Star Wars Insider 27 although there's no new info.
    • Added. Green Tentacle (Talk) 20:23, July 26, 2010 (UTC)
  • They're likely mentioned (or at least pictured) in The Action Figure Archive.
    • It would appear so. Added. Green Tentacle (Talk) 23:16, July 26, 2010 (UTC)
  • Did they appear in any of the Ewoks storybooks? Not sure; just asking.
    • Not as far as I can tell. Green Tentacle (Talk) 20:50, July 26, 2010 (UTC)
  • Another appearance is Tales from the Endor Woods (Compilation of "Wicket's Wagon," "The Travelling Jindas," "To Save Deej," and "Asha").
    • Added. Green Tentacle (Talk) 20:23, July 26, 2010 (UTC)
  • The intro I think should be beefed up to two paragraphs. As it stands now, it mostly describes Bondo's tribe of Jindas, but there's quite a bit of info that can be added about Jindas in general, including physical characteristics, more notes on the society, etc.
    • Expanded. Green Tentacle (Talk) 23:04, July 26, 2010 (UTC)
  • Any reason the eye color field is blank in the infobox? All images of them seem to portray them as having white eyes with no iris, even Provonost's pic from CoE.
    • Provonost's picture actually seems to show one with a blue iris and one with a green one. I've added something on eye color based on this. Green Tentacle (Talk) 20:23, July 28, 2010 (UTC)
  • Some notes about characteristic dress (for both males and females) would be appropriate for "Society and culture," basing the info off the cartoons and the CoE illustration.
    • Added a paragraph covering Jinda dress. Green Tentacle (Talk) 20:36, July 29, 2010 (UTC)
  • Although CoE makes some generalizations about their appearance (such as their red-banded neck), there is some variation among the Jindas in the cartoons. Could you elaborate a bit? For instance, Bondo's neck doesn't seem to be red, and not all of them seem to have red fur in the cartoons (Chituhr's seems to be brown, for instance). These variations should be noted in the infobox and the "Biology and appearance" section as appropriate.
    • I don't want to stray from a canon description too much based on a cartoony version of them, but have noted that variations in shade of body markings were possible and so was brown hair. Let me know if you want any more. Green Tentacle (Talk) 21:32, July 27, 2010 (UTC)
  • Although it's unclear whether its fur or skin, some note about the color of much of their bodies is in order. Bondo seems to have pale/flesh-colored bits, for instance.
    • Added to biology. As above, let me know if you want more. Green Tentacle (Talk) 21:32, July 27, 2010 (UTC)
  • I understand if you don't want to speculate on an average height, but it should be OK to state that they tended to be [taller than/the same height as] Ewoks, and shorter than Duloks based on the cartoons. (I forget whether they are taller or the same height as Ewoks.)
    • Already added. Green Tentacle (Talk) 20:23, July 26, 2010 (UTC)
  • Do we have an article about the unidentified Jinda beast of burden they use? If we don't, we should. ;)
    • Jinda beast of burden. Already linked. Green Tentacle (Talk) 20:23, July 26, 2010 (UTC)
  • Ditto for Ewok "Jindas" as mentioned in CoE and appearing in Galaxies.
    • We do now. Green Tentacle (Talk) 20:27, July 27, 2010 (UTC)
  • Perhaps some notes in "Society and culture" about some of the kinds of entertainments Bondo and his bunch were known to perform? Provonost's image shows some circus-type stuff they did, too, which might be worth mentioning in the same section.
    • Most of this was already there, but I've expanded it slightly. Green Tentacle (Talk) 20:23, July 28, 2010 (UTC)
  • Similarly, the dancers who rescue Latara from the Skandits seem to have some sort of hypnotic dancing ability. This isn't enough to call it a species-wide trait, but it is worth mentioning that at least a few Jindas could do this (probably under "Society and culture").
    • The thumping Skandit heart would seem to suggest this was more of a female thing than a Jinda thing. I've mentioned that female dancers were popular with Skandits (and Duloks for that matter) but I'm hesitant to call it hypnotic. Green Tentacle (Talk) 20:23, July 28, 2010 (UTC)
  • I'm pretty sure Wallace wasn't the sole writer of "Castaways of Endor," as the BTS currently implies. [Due to my limited availability, I hereby grant permission to any Inquisitor to strike any of my above objections at any time that he or she deems it to have been satisfactorily addressed.] ~ SavageBob 18:46, July 26, 2010 (UTC)
    • He's not (sorry, Amy). Already changed. Green Tentacle (Talk) 20:23, July 26, 2010 (UTC)
Chantepleurer
  • In Biology, you mention that Jinda expand their necks to frighten threats or to attract mates. Is this always the case? I see from the pictures that they expand their necks while performing for the Ewoks. Are they trying to scare the Ewoks or sleep with them? Or were they flirting with each other? SinisterSamurai 05:50, August 6, 2010 (UTC)
    • That's all the article says and it isn't shown in the series. I'd guess this guy is just trying to impress the girl as the article says. Green Tentacle (Talk) 19:51, August 6, 2010 (UTC)
  • Need articles on the instruments in the first non-infobox picture. If no names exist, conjectural articles should be created. I prefer the names Jinda churn-style bagpipe, Jinda belly-mounted membranophones with percussion hats, and Jinda Scotch-tape dispenser-shaped guitaroharp, but ultimately I leave the decision up to you. (I won't lie. When I first saw the image, I thought the middle one was taunting hungry droid children with droid lollipops.) If you don't feel like working them into the article, I'd be satisfied with having them linked in the image caption. SinisterSamurai 05:50, August 6, 2010 (UTC)
    • Linked. Green Tentacle (Talk) 19:51, August 6, 2010 (UTC)
  • Do we know what kind of vegetables they grew? Do we have enough info for a conjectural article on Endor beets, or something? SinisterSamurai 05:50, August 6, 2010 (UTC)
    • Looks like at least two different types are shown in the episode. But I don't think the individual vegetables are particularly relevant to the article when "vegetables" covers it all. Green Tentacle (Talk) 19:51, August 6, 2010 (UTC)
