  2. Palpatine, you filthy hypocrite. A lot of your 12 seem kind of sucky compared to the 13th though. Chack Jadson (Talk) 20:57, 26 November 2007 (UTC)

Oppose

  • Unsourced paragraph in the "Post-Endor" section. Thefourdotelipsis 23:18, 1 December 2007 (UTC)
    • Now sourced. -- AdmirableAckbar [Talk] 16:19, 3 December 2007 (UTC)
  1. From the desk of Atarumaster88
    • "Rabidly aristocratic" is POV.
      • Addressed.
    • Suspicious wording this paragraph could use improvement: "Grant, however, was far more patient than they were and, while his fellow Grand Admirals fell in grandiose schemes and internecine warfare, Grant found sanctuary in the Pentastar Alignment[1]—a mini-Imperial breakaway kingdom, ruled by Grand Moff Ardus Kaine, in the Outer Rim[2]—biding his time. He watched as the remainder of the Grand Admirals were either captured and subsequently executed by the New Republic, or were killed during battle with other Imperial factions"."
      • See about that.
    • Timeline issues in third paragraph of "Post-Endor." Several years after Endor, Makati and Batch are killed, but Grant is the last Grand Admiral only two years after Endor? That doesn't make sense.
      • Addressed.
    • Jan Ors is not linked.
      • Linked.
    • "He was loyal to the Empire only to a point; he would happily compromise the Empire to further his own means, and his prejudice against aliens almost caused him to oppose the only lifeline the Imperial remnant had to regain their former glory.". Run-on sentence.
      • Addressed.
    • "He viewed both his enemies and allies with raised eyebrows, his lips curled, though he never feuded with the other admirals, despite their low opinions of him." If this isn't a direct quote (and if it is, it's not correctly formatted), then what the kark is this?
      • It's not a direct quote, but it's pretty much the wording Pena/Wallace used, and I didn't really have a clue how to reword it. I've had a go now; see about that.
    • "though he knew full well that the Empire was far more effective in war, and had little doubt they would eventually crush their opponents." Classic POV.
      • Addressed.
    • "It was there that Grant was when the Yuuzhan Vong launched their attack on Rathalay, devastating the planet." Awkward verbage in the beginning.
      • Addressed.
    • Supporting pictures would be nice. Maybe of Thrawn, Dodonna, or Tapani.
      • Stuck in one of Thrawn, though I'm not a big fan of supporting pictures.
    • Have a Super Terrific Friendly Un-frustrating day. Atarumaster88 Jedi Order (Talk page) 19:55, 14 December 2007 (UTC)
      • About to hop on a plane, so I'm not sure I will, but thanks anyway. Thanks for the review. -- AdmirableAckbar (Talk) 21:53, 14 December 2007 (UTC)

Expanded on someone else's work (jSarek's, I think). -- AdmirableAckbar [Talk] 23:00, 25 November 2007 (UTC)
  • I don't know if the point is really opposable, but I'd like to see this article integrate the cut content from the unpublished Gamer draft of the Grand Admirals article which has somehow escaped into the wild, wink wink. -- Darth Culator (Talk) 04:33, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
    • I actually have gotten a hold of that myself, it's just the sourcing that's the problem. And do you mean in the BtS or the main article? -- AdmirableAckbar [Talk] 08:46, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
  • Alright, I've added it into the main body with {{cutstart}} and {{cutend}}, and with what I hope is an applicable ref. Is that what you had in mind? -- AdmirableAckbar [Talk] 10:05, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
    • After a discussion with some admins on the IRC, I've moved it to its own section in the BtS. -- AdmirableAckbar [Talk] 10:33, 27 November 2007 (UTC)
  • From the Gonk of Gonk: "Grant saw himself as superior to those who held a lower status than him" ...So, he WAS superior to them? This phrase needs clarification. Gonk (Gonk!) 18:43, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
    • Clarified some. -- AdmirableAckbar [Talk] 19:52, 29 November 2007 (UTC)
  • "Abel Peña stated that Wallace had plans for Grant's future, though they have yet to be revealed." Check Dan Wallace's post here (timestamp of 7/17/06 2:36pm, in case the pages come up differently for you than for me) to see what he had up his sleeves. jSarek 01:06, 9 December 2007 (UTC)
    • Ah, excellent. Thanks for that, jSarek. Info added to the article, of course. -- AdmirableAckbar [Talk] 01:21, 9 December 2007 (UTC)
