The Savage Heart of Imperators
- Both the exploration and population maps of The Essential Atlas contain information on the Vaal system.
- Question: the Vaal asteroid field was mentioned in a source dated to 3643 BBY, while TEA dates the system's exploration to 3000 at the earliest. Is this necessarily a contradiction? -

- To be exact, unlike the population map, which indicates that the given numbers specifically refer to the systems represented by the dots on the map, the exploration map only shows that the areas containing the systems are characterized by the given dates (here's an example of that kind of wording). So, to answer your question, I don't think it's a contradiction at all. There's plenty of examples in SW where characters visit systems located in regions that are only later considered explored. - Is the Imperial outpost manned by Humans? If so, that should go in the infobox and be mentioned in the body. Same goes for any language spoken by the outpost's crew, if applicable.
- The Essential Atlas puts grid square P-5 in either the New Territories (spinward of the Hydian Way) or the Trans-Hydian (trailing of the Hydian Way). Here's an example of referencing for this.
- Can it not be both? -

- How can it be, if the Vaal system is clearly located trailing of the Hydian by the Atlas? Imperators II(Talk) 09:41, December 1, 2017 (UTC)

- Context for hyenax, please.
- Same objection as on the Blackfel system CAN - please mention Tharan Cedrax and Vader's travels to and from the system.
- Please look through this to see how TOR references should be cited.
- Looking at the footage, it appears that this info is from a between-mission convo. -

- I gave you that example to look at because it also contains properly formatted citations of conversations with companion characters. Imperators II(Talk) 09:41, December 1, 2017 (UTC)

- "Orbited by a moon, the planet's trajectory" — is it just me, or does "orbited by a moon" currently describe the trajectory, not the planet?
From what the Vaal asteroid field article currently says, it seems like the first mention of "asteroid field" in this article should be linked to asteroid fields in general, while the specific asteroid field should be linked to from the words "one of which".- Source for Paul Alden being David Land? (BTW, if it's really a pseudonym, it should at least be a redirect) Imperators II(Talk) 09:08, November 30, 2017 (UTC)
- Honestly, I have no idea where this info comes from. How should I handle this? -
AV-6R7Crew Pit 17:01, November 30, 2017 (UTC)
- Well, until you find a source that confirms it's a pen name for Land, create an article for Paul Alden. Imperators II(Talk) 09:41, December 1, 2017 (UTC)

The CSWE entry for Vaal contains an image of the planet (from orbit), and therefore of the system.Imperators II(Talk) 09:15, November 30, 2017 (UTC)
