Unidentified Twi'lek bodyguard

  • Nominated by: Darth Morrt 02:36, November 23, 2010 (UTC)
  • Nomination comments: SWM nom. The P&T is based on the figure, that represent this character. I am not sure it is needed.

  1. IF you are going to include a P&T, you must include a Biography and any other applicable sections as well. NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 03:20, November 23, 2010 (UTC)
    • Are you sure? Menkooroo said me the opposite on Gunnery captain's nomination page: "Comprehensive articles are unique in that they don't need to have intros, even if there's an additional section like "Personality and traits" or "Notable gunnery captains."" Darth Morrt 11:29, November 23, 2010 (UTC)
      • The Layout Guide doesn't mention it either. It actually says that you can be quite flexible with the sections. In addition to that, the rules at the top of the page specify that it should be judged on a case-by-case basis anyway, so I doubt that you must do it. • It is flexible in that if you have only the intro and bts and the article covers the subject completely, you do not need to have the center sections. If you were to merge that statement with the intro, you wouldn't need middle sections. If you keep it as a separate P&T (Which you probably should not since it is pretty very speculative as it stands), you need to have as many of the others as applicable, at least the Bio if nothing else. NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 20:54, November 23, 2010 (UTC)
          • I have deleted the P&T. Darth Morrt 00:07, November 24, 2010 (UTC)
            • There's precedent for Comprehensive articles having a p & t and yet keeping a single intro-bio rather than creating a separate "Biography" section. Nobody objected to it when I did Shagrad Loset or Unidentified pirate captain (Zekk), anyway. Menkooroo 07:08, November 24, 2010 (UTC)
              • Someone must have decided to ignore that compromise along the way. Oh well. I'll give the article a full review now. NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 01:20, November 25, 2010 (UTC)

    • I see some mistakes you made on this article (some that I fixed, some that I have included as {{sofixit}}}s in my review) duplicated on your newer nom. Go over the engineer's article again after dealing with this review. I apologize in advance for the [Redacted by administration] arrangement of my comments.
    • Use the miniature figure as the infobox image.
      • Done. I will try to make a high-res photo instead of this stock photo. Darth Morrt 07:50, November 28, 2010 (UTC)
        • My figure's paintjob is not so good, but I took a photo of her statcard for the infobox. Darth Morrt 07:50, November 28, 2010 (UTC)
          • Is the card specifically for a "Twi'lek bodyguard" or a "generic Twi'lek" as the article says? NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 08:32, November 28, 2010 (UTC)
            • The figure and the correcponding card is named as "Twi'lek bodyguard". It is a generic RPG NPC, like Stormtrooper, Kaminoan Medic, Duros Scout etc. It is not designed to represent only Lando's bodyguard. I didn't checked every scenario, but there could be other ones which use the same Twi'lek bodyguard figure to represent someone else. Darth Morrt 08:51, November 28, 2010 (UTC)
    • It needs to be noted that she appears specifically in the Fringer campaign scenario and not in the alternative bounty hunter one.
      • There is only one scenario. The players decide who plays Bossk and who plays Lando. They fight against each other with different victory conditions, altought Bossk's victory is non-canon.
    • Is it at all possible to find her stats anywhere? If so, they need to be referenced in applicable ways.
      • The Wizards database was shut down. The Bloomilk has her stats, but it is not always working. Her stats are the following: cost 10, hit point 30, defense 15, attack 4, damage 10, Melee attack, Bodyguard. Maybe Melee could be added to the article as "she prefers melee weapons".
        • It would be better just to mention she used a quarterstaff in combat, since her figure wielded the weapon and her stats say that. NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 06:42, November 28, 2010 (UTC)
          • Done.
    • It needs era tags.
      • Make sure the shorthand for the era is lowercase in the Era template. NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 02:58, November 25, 2010 (UTC)
    • "The players used the generic Twi'lek bodyguard figure to represent this character." This makes it sound like it was the player's decision. Cagle put it in the scenario.
      • Reworded.
    • "That year, the city's chief engineer reported that a primary repulsorlift pod was about to break down, risking the entire city plunging through the clouds of Bespin." "Risking" isn't the right word here and the "plunging" part is a bit melodramatic
      • Reworded.
    • "This twi'lek..." should only be used as the introduction of the character in the opening sentence. Every other should read "the Twi'lek..." It should not read "female," btw.
      • Fixed.
    • Furthermore, it should not begin as "This Twi'lek female bodyguard..." It should give the person's title as the bolded portion and then proceed to giving race, gender, etc.
      • Fixed.
    • Context on Cloud City.
      • Fixed.
    • "After they entered the maintenance level, a blast door suddenly shut behind them—Calrissian was lured into a trap set by the bounty hunter Bossk, who was hired by the former owner of the city." Rephrase, name Raynor and say why he hired Bossk.
      • Done. Darth Morrt 07:50, November 28, 2010 (UTC)
        • "...hired the bounty hunter Bossk to hunt down the new Administrator." Why? NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 06:42, November 28, 2010 (UTC)
          • Done. Darth Morrt 07:50, November 28, 2010 (UTC)
    • Next sentence, Bossk has a posse with him?
      • Fixed.
    • The article says the chief engineer sent the message, it was Bossk posing as the chief engineer.
      • Fixed.
    • Why is Lando going to the maintenance level and why did he feel he needed an escort?
      • I don't know. He is cautious, nothing more in the source.
    • The four guards arrive because the player sends a distress call, not because they hear the fight.
      • I think the "Call for help" is optional. If Lando escapes without the reinforcements or his party kills the bounty hunters, he doesn't need to send the distress signal or escape through the hangar. That's why I didn't write that the guard arrived, just that they were on the way.
        • Oh, sorry, read that wrong. NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 06:42, November 28, 2010 (UTC)
    • "The fate of this character depend on the players" is too vague. Can she either live or die or something else?
      • Fixed.
    • That's the main wave, I may notice more later. NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 02:29, November 25, 2010 (UTC)
      • Speak of the Devil: It needs to be noted why the Fringer version is Canonical. NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 02:35, November 25, 2010 (UTC)
  3. The article is longer than 250 words and so therefore ineligible to become a comprehensive article. It would be more appropriate to take the nomination to the GAN page instead. --Jinzler 10:29, December 10, 2010 (UTC)
    • I ask The-one-who-has-the-power to remove this nomination, and Unidentified WED-15 Treadwell (Lars homestead) and WED-15-I662 as well, because they all became to long for a CA. I will nominate them to GA later, because I have four GA nomination currently. Thanks. Darth Morrt 16:45, December 10, 2010 (UTC)
