Is there a reason why the quote text omits the "of" between "mudslinging" and "thunder bats"?- Nope, just a typo.
The article can also be placed in Category:Species of undefined sentience.Zed42 (talk) 23:16, February 16, 2020 (UTC)I think it could be worth mentioning in the first sentence that thunder bats could be found in flocks.Zed42 (talk) 23:28, February 16, 2020 (UTC)

A lot of species pages start with the plural form in the intro. Since "thunder bats" is used in that quote, I think you can do the same for the intro here as well.UberSoldat93 (talk) 19:15, February 17, 2020 (UTC)

I don't think that date note is enough as it is. You should explain in the note that Message Boards post dates the events of Ewoks, including the mention of thunder bats in "The Cries of the Trees," to 3 ABY.- Done.
That's not really an objection, but I believe it's better to use an official publication (like this, for example) instead of a now-defunct Message Boards post when possible.Anıl Şerifoğlu (talk) 20:21, February 17, 2020 (UTC)
