b) Additional links in the BTS section (Ernek Marskan, Fin Danglot, Milar Travis, and their appearances)?- I presume you're suggesting expanding on the second BTS paragraph to mention the other candidates for Red Twelve, but I think that's ultimately extraneous to Talos Merkin, aside from the pilot that was chosen. No, nothing like that. I was suggesting that links be added within the quote, per the Layout Guide: "Do not use links within a quote, unless it is the only mention in the article of a certain subject." Anytime you have official author comments germane to the article, particularly if you're referencing those comments within the article, it should be included in the External links. The Rebellion era begins with the Battle of Toprawa (and lasts until 5 ABY), so I'm not sure how the Rise of the Empire era applies to Talos Merkin.Imperators II(Talk) 10:48, February 12, 2016 (UTC)- Leia refers to him as a "veteran of countless campaigns." The Battle of Toprawa, which begins the Rebellion era, as you point out, happens basically on the same day as the beginning of ANH, if not that very day, and the Battle of Yavin happens five days later. - None. I considered treating him as part of Gold Squadron despite the call sign issue, but I figured he could just as easily have been a part of Blue Squadron or Green Squadron, especially since Warfare almost made him part of Red Squadron. Toprawa and Ralltiir (talk) 21:58, February 14, 2016 (UTC)
