Riddle me Ziara
  • this could just be a difference in interpretation, but do we know that Thrawn tried to play Riddle Me with Lapphncik? it just sounds like Thrawn wanted him to come to the conclusion on his own, like he does with everyone else he talks to. I think that last sentence should be reworded BloodOfIrizi Sabine Starbird (talk) 23:34, 1 November 2022 (UTC)
    • Yes, he's playing Riddle Me. Thrass establishes that Thrawn was frustrated when Lappincyk wouldn't play Riddle Me with him. Samonic Signatureicon (Talk) 09:17, 2 November 2022 (UTC)
DFaceG
  • Adding on to Ziara's objection, but I can still see that being stipulated as a metaphorical context. The idea of the similarity to the game could have potentially been repeated when mentioning Thrawn's frustration, as he could have simply wished Lapphncik to come to the conclusion on his own as Ziara said. Can you perhaps provide us an excerpt from the novel of Thrass' perspective? - Thannus (DFaceG) (he/him) (talk) 22:30, 12 November 2022 (UTC)
    • "A minute later, the two Mitth found themselves in a small but well-furnished lounge. "What was the problem back there?" Thrass asked as he chose one of the lounge chairs and sat down. "The problem?" "You looked somewhat put out when Lamiov and Lappincyk wouldn't play Riddle Me with you," Thrass said." Samonic Signatureicon (Talk) 11:28, 13 November 2022 (UTC)
      • I'm seeing both usages of it here as a figure of speech imo but I can definitely see why others would think differently. I'd say perhaps rephrase the part describing Thrawn's displeasure so it's a bit more ambiguous. - Thannus (DFaceG) (he/him) (talk) 22:04, 13 November 2022 (UTC)
        • I've discussed this with you on Discord and reworded the article. Let me know if my changes are sufficient. Samonic Signatureicon (Talk) 09:10, 14 November 2022 (UTC)
Manoof
  • Can we change the wording and infobox to say it was played by at least two players? For example, hypothetically couldn't one person propose a riddle to a group of people to solve? or groups of people playing in teams? Since we don't know I think we should leave it open Manoof (he/him/his) RainbowRebellion2 11:59, 17 November 2022 (UTC)
    • I didn't do that? That's hilarious and embarrassing. :P Fixed. Samonic Signatureicon (Talk) 13:49, 17 November 2022 (UTC)
  • Can we say Chiss ascendancy as a location, since it's clear Thrawn knew of the reference? Manoof (he/him/his) RainbowRebellion2 11:59, 17 November 2022 (UTC)
    • See my above reply. Samonic Signatureicon (Talk) 13:49, 17 November 2022 (UTC)
Spooky
  • Is the Chiss Ascendancy meant to be listed in the infobox as an affiliation, rather than location? Wasn't sure enough of it myself to copy-edit the swap, but was eyeing that.,—spookywillowwtalk 03:27, 25 November 2022 (UTC)
    • Your assumption is correct, thank you. Fixed. Samonic Signatureicon (Talk) 09:17, 25 November 2022 (UTC)
