I don't think it's necessary to mention the Rebels episode in that dating ref note; On the Front Lines provides the actual date.Fan26 (Talk) 18:23, May 28, 2020 (UTC)- Sure. Removed. Corellian Premier

I think sourcing the writer's name to a tweet is unnecessary. Can't that be sourced to the StarWars.com article, or even better, the comic book itself?- It 100% can be. I just thought it would be good to have a variety of sources. Corellian Premier

- I get that, but I believe we should use official sources when available, instead of less official ones such as a social media post from someone's personal account.

As far as I can see, the latter half of the Development section, the bit after the release date, cannot be sourced to that Marvel.com page.Anıl Şerifoğlu (talk) 20:25, May 29, 2020 (UTC)
- It's supposed to be sourced to the comic itself. Can I use Red Four as a self-citation? Corellian Premier
The Force will be with you always 22:49, May 29, 2020 (UTC)
- I don't see why not. Just be sure to use the {{Shortstory}} template when formatting it.

Some things on the page are referenced to the Marvel site when it doesn't seem like the site contains that information: e.g. the credits, number of pages, the plot in the summary.I think you should include the reason the comic gives for "Red One" being given the 1977 slot (which should also be referenced to the comic, rather than the site.)Zed42 (talk) 03:25, June 1, 2020 (UTC)- Both handled. Ref 2: What's the reason for sourcing a reference to the page itself?Braha'tok enthusiast (Hello there) 22:21, June 4, 2020 (UTC)- Sorry to interject, but referencing OOU media articles to their own page is perfectly reasonable. Even if that information is given in the comic itself, it needs to be referenced. Other status articles on story pages, such as this one, do the same. Zed42 (talk) 22:31, June 4, 2020 (UTC)
- Yeah that's fine. Braha'tok enthusiast (Hello there) 22:33, June 4, 2020 (UTC)

Would it be possible to put some quotes in the article, either from the comic itself or someone like Soule?RattsT (talk) 20:43, June 8, 2020 (UTC)- Voila. Thanks for the suggestion. Corellian Premier
The Force will be with you always 02:46, June 10, 2020 (UTC)
- Looks good! Soule's tweet needs a backup link and screenshot on this page. I'm not sure if that can actually be included in the {{Quote}} template so you'll need to work in a reference to the tweet somewhere else on the page. RattsT (talk) 09:12, June 10, 2020 (UTC)
- Sigh. I did have it as a citation already, but was told it was unnecessary...anyway, re-added. Corellian Premier

- After taking a look at the comic, I now see the plot summary is somewhat lacking. You should describe the troopers' speculation, the manner in which Vader emerges from the wreckage, and what happens at the story's immediate end. Imperators II(Talk) 10:47, June 17, 2020 (UTC)
- Sure; I re-wrote it. Let me know if something doesn't work. Thanks. Corellian Premier
The Force will be with you always 23:03, June 17, 2020 (UTC)
- Yeah, the tense in the plot summary is incongruous now. Imperators II(Talk) 07:22, June 18, 2020 (UTC)
- Should be good now. Corellian Premier

- There's no evidence of there actually being a battle on the world other than the presence of several Rebel soldiers, an X-wing, and Darth Vader. Please remove any references to that. Imperators II(Talk) 11:38, June 25, 2020 (UTC)
- Furthermore, there's no evidence that the events of the comic take place on a separate "world" (a term which we now take to refer to planets by default), either. Imperators II(Talk) 11:38, June 25, 2020 (UTC)
- Context for the Golden Age of Comics, please. Imperators II(Talk) 11:38, June 25, 2020 (UTC)
- You use the word "blow" in two different meanings in consecutive sentences, please reword this. Imperators II(Talk) 11:38, June 25, 2020 (UTC)
- The comic does not explicitly identify the vessel as an X-wing. Please take a page out of Escape from Darth Vader, a relatively recent OOU former GA, and either separately reference any terms not used in the source, or stick to the terminology provided by the source, combined with pipelinking. Imperators II(Talk) 11:38, June 25, 2020 (UTC)
- External links items should not use quotations. Imperators II(Talk) 11:38, June 25, 2020 (UTC)
- The Rebel trooper is specifically talking to one of his comrades, as far as the comic shows, and I would like for you to create an article for the other soldier. Imperators II(Talk) 11:38, June 25, 2020 (UTC)
