Imperators II
  • Congratulations on your first status article nomination! Mine was a creature, as well. :P OK, so there are a few things that need to be done:
  • Currently, pangorin's non-sentience is infobox-exclusive, which means that per our Layout Guide it has to be mentioned in the article's body, as well.
    • Done! —Unsigned comment by Jim The Lamproid (talk • contribs)
      • Wait, is that quote you gave below all that's said about pangorins in the book? If so, there's not enough evidence to say they're non-sentient.
        • Well, I thought since they're in a zoo there's little chance they would be sentient, and semi-sentience doesn't really exist in canon atm, but I shouldn't have assumed that. Changed now.
  • The same goes for the link to cave that's in infobox, and I'm puzzled as to why you call them "grottoes" in the body and "caves" in the infobox.
    • I use 'grottoes' in the article and 'caves' in the infobox because the book says: "They went out to the zoo on Sarini Island, watched the Pangorins in their grottoes..." A search for the definition of grotto gave two definitions; 1. "a small picturesque cave, especially an artificial one in a park or garden", and 2. "an indoor structure resembling a cave." since the Pangorins are in a zoo, I assumed the use of 'grotto' meant they were in an artificial cave, and so caves were their natural habitat. Nevertheless, I mentioned caves on the main body of the article. Jim The Lamproid (talk) 21:12, August 29, 2017 (UTC)
      • If that's all the info there is on pangorins, you should not assume their natural habitat is caves. Imperators II(Talk) 21:29, August 29, 2017 (UTC)
        • Removed. Jim The Lamproid (talk) 21:40, August 29, 2017 (UTC)
          • Artificial or not, I've linked grottoes to cave. Imperators II(Talk) 21:56, August 29, 2017 (UTC)
  • There's some overlinking - you link to Sarini Island and its zoo twice.
    • Done. Jim The Lamproid (talk) 21:12, August 29, 2017 (UTC)
  • Since Life Debt can't be used as a source for its full release date, you should find another source for that.
    • Done. Jim The Lamproid (talk) 21:12, August 29, 2017 (UTC)
  • Does Life Debt explicitly say it's set in 5 ABY? The above nomination of Pollus Maksim makes me think that isn't so, so you'll have to use some part of the date referencing used in that article (or write your own, better reference!) to source that date. Imperators II(Talk) 20:33, August 29, 2017 (UTC)
    • Done! I used a much shorter and less complicated reference from the Timeline of canon media page. Thanks for reviewing this article! Jim The Lamproid (talk) 21:12, August 29, 2017 (UTC)
      • It doesn't show up, though, because you named it the same as the regular Life Debt reference. But from what I'm seeing in the source code, the reference note only talks about months after the Battle of Endor (which the article itself doesn't actually mention), but doesn't say anything about the year 5 ABY. Imperators II(Talk) 21:29, August 29, 2017 (UTC)
        • Changed the reference to the one from the Pollus Maksim. Jim The Lamproid (talk) 21:40, August 29, 2017 (UTC)
          • It is unfortunate that, unlike the Pollus Maksim article, here the dating reference note can't be split up into separate notes. :( I've added line breaks to it so that it hopefully doesn't look that terrible in the Wikia skin, though. Imperators II(Talk) 22:10, August 29, 2017 (UTC)
Ayrehead
  • Given the complexity of the date reference I might be missing something, but I'm not sure the maths quite adds up because of Star Wars: Uprising. The Leia hologram establishes that part of Uprising takes place 2 months after the Battle of Endor, but surely that doesn't mean that the fall of Cloud City has to take place 2 months after since we don't know how much time passes during the game. What might be a better reference is using Aftermath: Empire's End, which depicts the freeing of Cloud City as taking place at the same time or just before the Battle of Jakku, which is confirmed to take place in 5 ABY by the Atlas. Since we know that Lifedebt takes place before Empire's End this confirms that it can't be any later than 5 ABY. That still leaves the issue though that surely we don't know if 2 months after the Battle of Endor is 4 ABY or 5 ABY, we only know that 3 months after is 5 ABY? Again, if I've missed something I'm sorry, this stuff is not easy to follow at all. Ayrehead02 (talk) 15:11, September 9, 2017 (UTC)
    • Ok looking at it further I think the following reference should work:
"Star Wars: Galactic Atlas places the Battle of Endor in the year 4 ABY. Shattered Empire 4, which shows Shara Bey and Kes Dameron settling on Yavin 4, takes place three months after the Battle of Endor, and Star Wars: Galactic Atlas places Bey and Dameron's move to Yavin 4 in the year 5 ABY.
In the novel Aftermath it is said that "months" have passed since the Battle of Endor, meaning it occurs at least two months after the Battle for Endor. Aftermath: Life Debt begins two months after the end of Aftermath, meaning that at minimum it takes place four months after the battle of Endor, which would place it in the year 5 ABY at the earliest based on the fact that 3 months after the Battle of Endor is already 5 ABY. In Aftermath: Empire's End, which is the chronological sequel to Aftermath: Life Debt, the Battle of Jakku takes place. The Galactic Atlas establishes that the Battle of Jakku takes place in the year 5 ABY, therefore the events of Empire's End must take place in the year 5 ABY as well." Ayrehead02 (talk) 18:00, September 9, 2017 (UTC)
  • Thanks! Changed to the reference you suggested. Jim The Lamproid (talk) 19:47, September 9, 2017 (UTC)
  • Good work! Ayrehead02 (talk) 19:54, September 9, 2017 (UTC)
Exiled Jedi
  • The wording here is a little inconsistent. Do we know if they were on exhibit at the zoo? "Their enclosure in the zoo included grottoes" makes it sound like they have an exhibit, while "Pangorins were a species that could be found in a zoo" doesn't really make it clear if they are part of an exhibit or just happened to be at the zoo (i.e. pigeons or squirrels that just happen to live there). Does the source specifically say that their grottos were in an enclosure?--Exiled Jedi (talk) 04:50, September 24, 2017 (UTC)
    • How does it look now? Jim The Lamproid (talk) 08:45, September 24, 2017 (UTC)
