Lok Durd's article is currently treating him as from Neimoidia based on the Star Wars: The Clone Wars: The Complete Season One special features. I'm not sure if these special features have been confirmed as canon, but if they have been, this should be added. - I hadn't fully read the article when I wrote this. Since you mention a Season One featurette in the BTS, I'm assuming that those materials have been confirmed as canon.
