Not really an objection, but since there is no mention of the New Republic, is it necessary to call the Republic the "Old Republic"? Its real name is Galactic Republic... 1358 ^(Talk) 10:16, October 23, 2011 (UTC)
- As it is a canonical name for the subject technically he may elect to call it that (the Old Order, the Republic, or the First Galactic Republic) so long as he doesn't link to the redirect. This does not apply to colloquial names, but since there really aren't any for the Republic that's not an issue here. NaruHina ^Talk 21:26, October 23, 2011 (UTC)

    - I'd agree with Xd on this one. You already state the year, so specifying the era isn't really needed. - Although I suppose I agree that it's not necessarily wrong to call it the Old Republic, I wouldn't mind seeing a year somewhere in the article, since "days of the Old Republic" could mean almost anything.
