  • Some changes should be made to the following as it reads a bit weird now: "...[Ziara] was promoted to the rank of commodore by Ja'fosk, severing her ties to the Irizi family and adopting the name "Ar'alani." Immediately after the ceremony, Ar'alani guessed speculated /suggested to Ja'fosk that he was remembering the time he too was promoted to flag officer and lost the connection to his original family"
    • got some of them. She didnt say it to Ja'fosk, she just thought he was remembering that time in her head. Flag rank/officer are interchangebale in this instance BloodOfIrizi Sabine Starbird (talk) 21:21, 13 December 2022 (UTC)

  • The "formerly" in the infobox should be removed. Wookieepedia documents events that happened "a long time ago," so there's no real need to specify that someone was a former member of the family. There's also precedent, Mitth'ali'astov's original family doesn't do this. I don't think we really list relatives (not including patriarchs/matriarchs) in infoboxes. (Solha's family, Skywalker family, Unidentified minor Chiss family.)
  • "Chiss Defense Hierarchy Council Supreme Admiral Ja'fosk" please reword.
  • I would recommend rewording the first sentence to something like "The Chiss Supreme Admiral Ja'fosk, a member of the Chiss Ascendancy's Defense Hierarchy Council, belonged to a family part of the Ascendancy before becoming a flag officer and losing his ties to the family." I don't think mentioning the rank of commodore bit is necessary, saying he became a flag officer is enough.
  • I think Ziara's promotion ceremony is notable for a page. If you don't agree, it's fine. It would be another free CAN/GAN, though. :P
  • Do we know if Ja'fosk served the Defense Force before becoming a flag officer? If so, this will have to be mentioned in the body and infobox. Samonic Signatureicon (Talk) 14:24, 18 December 2022 (UTC)
    • i dont think the promotion ceremony is notable tbh
    • we dont know if he was part of the CDF. its logical to assume so as the CEDF was formed later on, but there could be other military branches we dont know of
