  • "The base was considered ill-equipped to support the […]" Does the novel say who thought the base was ill-equipped?

  • Can you provide the segment of the novel that distinguishes FS Base from FS? I could only see evidence that the two are one and the same, especially since the FS article says "Fleet Support was called upon to receive twenty thousand injured clone troopers and an additional seventy-two thousand combat-fit troops, some of which were contained by Fleet Support Base," whereas this article says all of the clones were contained by FS Base. - - -CIS roundel OOM 224 ༼༽{talk}༼༽ 16:38, October 1, 2020 (UTC)
    • Good point. This was definitely confusing to me, and I'm open to a second opinion. FS itself is mentioned a total of three times in the book (none of which are in the body, but instead in the location descriptions), while FS Base is in the article body: "Fleet Support Base hadn’t been built to accommodate tens of thousands of troops, and it showed." FS is provided as the location at the beginning of this chapter, as well as when troopers are in the barracks. However, FS Air Station is later mentioned as part of FS, which does lead me to believe they're two separate elements (Air and Base), while Fleet Support is the umbrella term for the complex.   • After looking through Hard Contact for another potential nomination, it appears that there are three distinct Fleet Support elements. Fleet Support, Fleet Support Base, and Fleet Support Air Station. Unless anyone has objections to them being separate articles, I'll retract the nomination until I can update this page sufficiently with the Fleet Support data.
