    • Could you fix all the redirects?
      • Done.
    • There's a Luke Skywalker link that also needs fixing.
      • Not sure what you mean
        • Don't worry I think someone else fixed it.
    • Could you make the context for Luuke a little clearer? The whole part about pretending to be the original because he was dead is a little confusing.Ayrehead02 (talk) 11:14, June 30, 2013 (UTC)
      • Any better now? Commander Code-8 You lost the game! 23:46, July 2, 2013 (UTC)

    • Unless the story mentions Duurga as having a masculine personality, I do not think you can assume it based of Durga since Hutts can change from a male to a female personality.--Exiled Jedi Oldrepublic crest (Greetings) 22:26, July 3, 2013 (UTC)
      • Done. Commander Code-8 You lost the game! 01:25, July 8, 2013 (UTC)
        • "While the original Durga chose to have a masculine personality during his life..." This needs to be sourced.--Exiled Jedi Oldrepublic crest (Greetings) 13:20, July 18, 2013 (UTC)
  3. Naru smells clones
    • Because of the context of "An Apology," Duurga would have had to die before the events of Darksaber, or 12 ABY, when the clone impersonating Durga at that time died. There's no guarantee that that clone was Duuurga, but a BTS note should be added to his article, too. There are no misplaced "u"s in this post. (booya!)
      • Hold on, you've lost me, there's no confirmation that Duurga died in "An Apology", I'll need a bit more of an explanation.
        • It's because of the context of "An Apology." I'll try to be clear, but do say again if you need more clarification. This may end up repetitive, but I'm just going to go slowly to follow the logic, so here goes. OK, so in "An Apology" Thrawn was creating clones to replace people. The story says that this became his pet project after Luuke was born, 9 ABY, and the article currently reflects that. Good. Everything appearance of a character in true canon after they were cloned and replaced was done by the clone. Luke Skywalker in Jedi Quest, Legacy of the Force, The Unifying Force? Luuke Skywalker. Boba Fett during (and before) Fate of the Jedi? Booba Fett. Savvy? (The following was struck before the objection was struck) After that unspecified point at which Durga was cloned, he would have been a clone created by Thrawn in disguise. All of the true canon actions of Durga after that point were actually a clone in the "Apology" continuity. That means that in 12 ABY, when Durga died during Darksaber, that was a clone. Because Duurga died at the hands of Chewbaaca in a markedly different way than the true canon events and another took his place, Duurga had to have died before Darksaber's events, or before 12 ABY. On the other hand, this does not confirm that the clone who died during Darksaber was Duuurga, but a note that he took control before 12 ABY would be necessary. HOLD THE PHONE. First off, I realized that I had gotten it in my head that Duurga had died. I was wrong, and I don't know what happened there. BUT I REALIZED. "An Apology" states that Duurga was paired with Chewbaaca for arm wrestling after the clone Wookiee's creation in the wake of Chewbacca's death during Vector Prime in 25 ABY. That means that Duurga had to have lost his his arm during or after 25 ABY. "But after Chewbaacca pulled one of Duurga’s arms out of its socket, he stopped those bouts. He hasn’t let Chewbaacca anywhere near Duuurga since" also indicates that Duuurga and Chewbaaca were allowed to mingle before the event, which means that Duuurga coexisted with Duurga. That means that he had to have been born before Duurga lost his arm, meaning that his birth range is some point between "after 9 ABY" and "circa 25 ABY" (simplified from "before circa 'after 25 ABY'"). Moreover, Luuke writes about Duuurga in the present tense there, indicating that at least Duuurga survived through Fate of the Jedi into 44 ABY. All of this means that, in the "An Apology" universe, the original Durga lived his fully canonical life and died during Darksaber, and was replaced by Duurga, who has only one additional vowel and is thereby the first clone, during or after 12 ABY. That doesn't necessarily mean that Duurga was born in 12 ABY, but it means he was alive after that point. Although, since Durga's death was final in the canon universe and he never did anything after that point canonically, the practical reason for Durga clones to exist at all is unclear. Neither clone did anything to affect the greater galaxy before 44 ABY, the point at which point "An Apology" spins off into Son of Clone Wars. That means that at least Duuurga's BTS needs to include a tidbit about his surviving into the rebranding of the Star Wars universe into Son of Clone Wars. …I'm going to summarize that into a list so it's clearer. Here are the events that the article needs to incorporate:
          • The source, Durga, died in 12 ABY, per Darksaber. This may be best handled as a BTS note.
          • Duurga, the first clone because of the one extra "u," was alive after Durga's death in 12 ABY, so the article needs to mention that date explicitly somehow.
          • Chewbaaca was born during or after 25 ABY, in the wake of the Battle of Sernpidal. At this point, Duurga and Duuurga were definitely alive. That means his birth year has a definite latest point, "during or after 25 BBY." "Circa" would probably work, too.
          • Sometime during or after 25 ABY, Chewbaaca tore off Duurga's arm.
          • (For Duuurga only) In 44 ABY, when Luuke wrote "An Apology," Duuurga was alive and he would thereby be alive at the start of the unending series, Son of Clone Wars, so that needs describing in his BTS.
            • These are all simple conclusions from the dates and the extra vowel naming convention, which has plenty of examples. Questions? NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 07:12, July 8, 2013 (UTC)
              • I need some help on how to do the first two, but I've tried my best on the other ones. Sorry for taking a while. Commander Code-8 You lost the game! 10:17, July 16, 2013 (UTC)
                • Oh, don't worry about the time. You did very well. :) I first tried incorporating the info on Durga's death as a BTS note, but in the end it worked out more like a ref note, so that's what it became once I added a bit on Durga in the body. Overall, I ended up changing more than I set out to. :\ Let me know if you're unhappy with something. I'm going to add this list to Duuurga's nomination, for record purposes. See my new objection below, and I think that'll be all! NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 20:29, July 16, 2013 (UTC)
    • Also, as an addendum to EJ's objection above mine, though I think we could take it on as a duck test since the whole point of the clone replacements was to not change anything about the character, a BTS note about Durga's sex would be required if that tidbit were removed from the body. NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 23:34, July 4, 2013 (UTC)
      • Done. Commander Code-8 You lost the game! 01:25, July 8, 2013 (UTC)
        • The revelation that they lived after the original Durga invalidated the duck test anyway. NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 07:12, July 8, 2013 (UTC)
    • "Duurga was created from samples collected by Luuke Skywalker, a clone of the Jedi Knight Luke Skywalker who had been killed in 9 ABY and replaced with the clone." This sentence structure needs another comma, after "Luke Skywalker," which would make it an appositive within an appositive and thereby a run-on sentence. It needs breaking up somehow. • Unsure whether the Besadi Tai part should be added to the title, Any thoughts? Commander Code-8 You lost the game! 11:00, June 30, 2013 (UTC)
    • If it's not given as his full name in the source then I'd leave it to be honest. Ayrehead02 (talk) 11:14, June 30, 2013 (UTC)
  • As it is, the article sits at 266 words, just so you know. NaruHina Talk Anakinsolo 20:50, July 16, 2013 (UTC)
    • Yeah, I'm gonna have to archive this later. Commander Code-8 You lost the game! 05:41, July 21, 2013 (UTC)
