- Do we know it's a family? From my reading of the article, it seems like it could just be a social group. I know Kin Dragen has the "Dragen" last name, but it could be a group where you take on a new last name (Chiss names come to mind where the last name is an undefined social factor including the odo honorific). Seems to me like it might be best to just call it a social group to avoid any assumptions. ThrawnChiss7 Assembly Cupola 13:33, 29 February 2024 (UTC)
- I think it's pretty obvious it's meant to be a family. In addition, we have similar in the sense of Chas, Calrissian family, Ferrols, Fetts, and to give another example from the same author: the Parse family. Plus to give a real world example, saying the Windsors would be a way of referring to the British royal family. Lewisr (talk) 16:48, 29 February 2024 (UTC)
- I agree that that most likely was the intent here, but in all those cases, we know that there is a familial relationship, ie Boba was Jango's son, Rev Ferrel was Viceroy Ferrel's son, another one the Faers they are known to be siblings. This is different from that because it isn't confirmed that it is a family. I think it would be an assumption on our part to say it was a "family", but rather just stick to saying that it was a general social group. ThrawnChiss7 Assembly Cupola 17:10, 29 February 2024 (UTC)
