Bansu Ro's family
- Nominated by: Braha'tok enthusiast Hello there 22:35, 15 July 2022 (UTC)
- Nomination comments: Trying out a family article this since I'm not used to covering those. Also headcanon that they're named the Ros like the family from the High Republic.

I do think the tie fighter issues need to be included in the appearances as we're otherwise saying that the family is human based on something they're not in? Manoof (he/him/his) (talk) 14:10, 28 July 2022 (UTC)- Not necessarily, since even though he split from his family, he, a human, had been part of it at some point. - As mentioned on Discord, we shouldn't consider Bansu Ro as no longer part of that family. We know he split from them, as I understand that means he simply didn't join them in joining the rebels and cut communication with them, which may have been to protect them. Family by blood is still family so kinda thinking he should be noted as part of that family, though estranged from the REST of the family. They're still part of their original family, even insofar that if they were to map their family tree they would show those aspects they have cut off. - While I am conflicted on this, your arguments here are more solid that mine. I have updated accordingly. Braha'tok enthusiast Hello there 16:24, 7 August 2022 (UTC)

- Note I've left the TIE Fighter issues out of the appearances since Ro has "split" from his family by then (which I believe applies to his visual depiction in the comics as well). Feel free to object if you believe that shouldn't be the case. Braha'tok enthusiast Hello there 22:35, 15 July 2022 (UTC)
- Is there a precedent for assuming that any mention of "rebels" is not synonymous with the Rebel Alliance? Commander Code-8 Hello There! 08:29, 25 July 2022 (UTC)
- The logic I've gone with is that not all rebel groups were part of the Alliance. Partisans and Batonn insurgency being the best example. It's also not specified when he split from his family, could be before the founding off the official Alliance. Given he's in the academy not long before Endor, that's probably not likely, but there's still no solid timing for me to go off of. Braha'tok enthusiast Hello there 09:40, 25 July 2022 (UTC)
