Admiral (soldier)

  • Nominated by: Clonehunter(Report your W.M.D.) 18:04, January 21, 2014 (UTC)
  • Nomination comments: More DF2 MP characters. I recently learned of Gamecameo, and used it here. I'm wondering if I should add it to the others, and if it even belongs here.

    • Saying the uniform looked military in nature seems a little speculatory to me, mind rewording or removing it?
      • I suppose it does... Reworded.
    • Likewise with the writing on the shirt. Supreme Emperor (talk) 05:38, January 28, 2014 (UTC)
      • Sounds good, and done. Also, any wieght on the discussion in the comments? --Clonehunter(Report your W.M.D.) 23:36, January 29, 2014 (UTC)
    • "and what a set of symbols" Any particular reason the what is in there?
      • Whatasetofsymbols is a subsidiary or Whataburger, Inc. Fixed.
    • I'm thinking the bit about his scar should go before the weapons. Supreme Emperor (talk) 05:01, February 4, 2014 (UTC)
      • Good idea, I think that's how the others were formatted. --Clonehunter(Report your W.M.D.) 14:58, February 4, 2014 (UTC)
Exiled Jedi
  • You are at 227 words, so you need to section the article.--Exiled Jedi Oldrepublic crest (Greetings) 04:30, February 9, 2014 (UTC)
    • Section? You mean like 'Bio,' 'P&T,' etc.? --Clonehunter(Report your W.M.D.) 19:51, February 9, 2014 (UTC)
      • Yeah, you will need to write an introduction and split the article into the necessary sections.--Exiled Jedi Oldrepublic crest (Greetings) 00:12, February 10, 2014 (UTC)
        • Hmm, meat-wise, what would be the consensus on saying something like "This character fought *other JK/MotS MP chars* in free for all skirmishes and arena fights blah blah blah*", all under the ambig tag of course. The idea of course that it would some flesh to the articles, and be under the fact that technically speaking, these characters could encounter each other, ectc, in these Multiplayer modes. It's game mechanics sure, but I suppose it would be possible if these characters encountered each other in these locations(maps) to fight(Deathmatch). It's a stretch, but I'm wondering. --Clonehunter(Report your W.M.D.) 18:48, February 10, 2014 (UTC)
          • I would say it wouldn't be, as multiplayer is clearly just non-canon. Hanzo Hasashi (talk) 21:39, February 10, 2014 (UTC)
            • This is over 250 and needs to be taken to the GAN page. Additionally, the introduction really needs to be expanded.--Exiled Jedi Oldrepublic crest (Greetings) 16:48, February 12, 2014 (UTC)
              • Going to give my thoughts again and say I really don't think anything else can be added to the intro. However, do make his uniform and stuff a separate equipment section. Hanzo Hasashi (talk) 22:30, February 12, 2014 (UTC)
                • Alright, I'll add the equip section. But otherwise, yah. There is really nothing that can be put into the introduction. Though honestly, maybe some things should be rethought, especially when the bulk of an article is the BtS section, like Santiago. Just my 2cents though.--Clonehunter(Report your W.M.D.) 15:02, February 13, 2014 (UTC)
  • At 268 words, this article will need to go to the GAN page.--Exiled Jedi Oldrepublic crest (Greetings) 18:13, February 20, 2014 (UTC)
    • Fair enough. This gets archived then? Do I do that, or someone else? If I'm supposed to do it as it's my nom, then, how do I do that? Guide somewhere? --Clonehunter(Report your W.M.D.) 18:16, February 20, 2014 (UTC)
      • I'll take care of it.--Exiled Jedi Oldrepublic crest (Greetings) 18:17, February 20, 2014 (UTC)
      • Oh, alright then Clonehunter(Report your W.M.D.) 18:19, February 20, 2014 (UTC)

Comments

  • I have treated Cabbel's multiplayer-only appearance in Star Wars: Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast as non-canon, given the fact he does not appear in a storyline event. That was what an objection I got when I nominated Cabbel for GAN, so I would believe the same needs to be done with this character. Hanzo Hasashi (talk) 01:14, January 22, 2014 (UTC)
    • Perhaps, but the thing with Admiral is that he was created as a MP avatar, as opposed to Cabbel's likeness being used for the Imperial Officer in JO. I'd also wonder about how that would affect the Ambig tag as well as Rugar's, Santiago's, Veamon's, Krugon's, and One-Eye's pages. --Clonehunter(Report your W.M.D.) 15:24, January 22, 2014 (UTC)
      • I would ask others what to do, as I myself am not sure. I would say that the ambiguous canon should be fine, but still I think others' thoughts should be heard. Hanzo Hasashi (talk) 05:47, January 28, 2014 (UTC)
        • Personally, i'm thinking the ambig canon would work fine here. Supreme Emperor (talk) 05:02, February 4, 2014 (UTC)
