In the BTS: "First appeared" isn't accurate for something in the "Soures" section; "was first mentioned" would be more accurate.- Corrected.
Some overlinking in the BTS; The Unknown Soldier is linked twice.- Argh, corrected.
I'm a little confused --- the BTS reads as if this planet was called "Abbaji" in both Unknown Soldier and the Atlas, with the name "Abbaji Minor" coming from a Jason Fry post at the JC forums. Is that true? If so, has the name "Abbaji Minor" ever appeared in canon? If not, the BTS will need some re-wording to be clear as to what the story is.Menkooroo (talk) 01:50, November 21, 2012 (UTC)- Is it less confusing now? Winterz (talk) 20:49, November 21, 2012 (UTC)
- Definitely. Is there any indication that the name "Abbaji Minor" is canonical, though? ie, can you link me to Jason Fry's post (the current URL is dead). Menkooroo (talk) 03:18, November 22, 2012 (UTC)
- Couldn't find anything about the name Abbaji Minor though I couldn't really ignore the facts. I, personally, never saw the forum's post but I'm sure that when the link was live, someone on Wookieepedia checked and confirmed it, otherwise the name wouldn't have stayed that way for so long. Either way, I thought it was relevant enough to leave it be. So now I'm on a standstill, what should my approach be in this matter? Erase, modify or let it be? As I await for your reply I've added a "conjecture tag" considering no source, besides supposedly the author, confirmed the name's authenticity. :s Winterz (talk) 19:18, November 27, 2012 (UTC)
- I've updated the link for you—the cartography thread is still alive at the Jedi Council Forums, though the URL (obviously) changed when the forums moved. But when you know where (and how) to look, the post isn't all that hard to find. Just type "abbaji minor" site:boards.theforce.net to Google and it turns up right away. :) Tinwe(comlink) 11:23, November 28, 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks a lot, Tinwe! ;) Winterz (talk) 11:52, November 28, 2012 (UTC)
- OK... I don't think the conjecture tag is necessary; I think we need to call the world "Abbaji" based on what's in canon. The authorial intent can definitely be mentioned in "Behind the scenes," but until it makes its way into an official product, we'll need to stick with the facts. Moving the article to "Abbaji (minor)" and just calling it "Abbaji" throughout the article would probably be the best route. Does that sound good? Menkooroo (talk) 12:21, November 28, 2012 (UTC)

- OK! Final round. Check out my copy-edit for ideas on how linking can be improved.
- Thanks, I should've learnt that by now!
- "the latter were known for colonizing and pillaging this planet." It's a good habit to get into to avoid using "this" in articles, as it reads like an out-of-universe descriptor and doesn't jive too well with past tense. "The" or "that" is usually better, depending on the situation, although in this case I think it would be best to just use the planet's name.
- Oh was distracted, fixed.
- "Along the galactic history..." Ach, grammar! I think the mistake here might have come from the pipelink being "Timeline of galactic history," as "along the timeline of galactic history" would be gramatticaly correct. Anyway, fix 'er up, baby!
- Grammar is always a big challenge to non-native speakers and the main reason I haven't even dared to face the Inq's wrath, yet. I think it's good now.
- Check out the link to Security Police --- doesn't seem accurate here.
- True, removed the link.
- The first sentence of the BTS should be split up; it's pretty long and a bit rambly and the bit about the first Abbaji near Endor is an entirely new point.
- The last sentence of the BTS needs to be reworked --- Jason's comment doesn't constitute an official retcon if the name "Abbaji minor" isn't an official one.
- The article is currently over 230 words, which means an intro will need to be added that will likely bring it over 250. I think you could make a great GAN out of this, with specific years assigned to when the planet fell within the different territories within a "History" section.
