- This needs to be checked for a potential update.
- I've re-checked the novel and I can't find anywhere it is used in the book. The closest I can find is the regular references to the "warmth of the Force" but that is a descriptor used even when the person is inside a warm environment like inside a ship (e.g. "Jaden dwelled in the comforting warmth of the Force" or "He relaxed as he fell into the Force. Its touch comforted him, warmed him, steadied him"), but nothing I can find suggests specifically using the Force to stay warm. I've asked SaintSirNicholas if they can point me to where they found it being shown in the novel. I think it may potentially just be a misinterpretation of the regular references to referring to the Force as "warm", but I'll wait for SaintSirNicholas to get back to me though as I may have missed something. grunny@wookieepedia:~$ 09:15, 22 October 2021 (UTC)
- SaintSirNicholas confirmed he was interpreting the second example I gave above as literally warming them and a use of Tapas, which I don't think is the case as the user is not specifically cold and intending to warm themselves, and "warm" is a regular descriptor in the book for simply how the Force feels to the user when reaching out to it. - It seems more logical to merge "Applications" into "Description" and rename "Usage" to "History."
- This format is the Layout Guide organization for Force power articles. I agree that I think we should consider just making Force power layouts "Description" and "History", since I don't think there's as much meaningful difference between Description and Applications, and Users is basically History so would be more consistent with other types of articles. Right now, this article is in line with the LG as it is right now though, so I don't think this should be changed for this article as part of this. But I think I could propose changing the LG for Force powers to Description + History and create a CT if folks seem onboard generally, and we can move all Force power status articles to that format if/when that passes.
