Ladies and gentlemen, it is my pleasure to bring to you AC Meeting 23! Stylish (and merciless) as ever, the AC is in business. Meeting 23 will take place on Saturday, June 26 at 20:00 UTC. That's 4:00 pm for you EDTers out there. If you're not sure what time it is, due to our troubles with the infobox, please ask Chack!

Agenda of very interesting stuff

Probed review

New articles

  • Q9-X2 is in need of an expansion. For a major character that was featured in three books, he has a relativity small history. Xicer brought this to my attention a couple of weeks ago, and I have to agree with him. I believe this was one of Chack's GAs. :P JangFett (Talk) 00:07, June 14, 2010 (UTC)
  • The Thesme and Lol sectors should be demoted from GA status. I have not updated them since the Atlas came out, and this book added significant new information for both articles that would likely enable them to reach 1,000 words. I will leave it up to you whether you want to probe them first, but they are not on my agenda to update any time soon. --Eyrezer 00:20, June 14, 2010 (UTC)
  • Jhor-Kai—messy wording at places as well as phrasing that leaves some things unexplained, multiple grammatical errors, possible OR/speculation, the intro could use a slight expansion, and there are linking issues, too
  • Tjulan Kwaad—something appears to be wrong with the infobox
  • Vo Lian—same thing as for Kwaad. Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 00:29, June 14, 2010 (UTC)
  • Akanah Norand Goss Pell—Missing P&A section, the numerous sub sections lack quotes. Could use some reorganizing, i.e, shorten the amount of sub sections, and lessen the broadness of the information given in the biography. An expansion is probably needed. JangFett (Talk) 00:48, June 14, 2010 (UTC)
  • S'yito—An empty field is in the infobox, "domain." JangFett (Talk) 01:09, June 16, 2010 (UTC)
  • Ordo Skirata—Couple of {{Fact}} tags in the infobox and missing Ref tags in the infobox. Also, I noticed the article has exceeded past 1,000 words. JangFett (Talk) 01:17, June 16, 2010 (UTC)
  • Second Battle of Abridon—Because of the recent CSWE entry, the article needs to be sourced per WP:S. JangFett (Talk) 01:29, June 16, 2010 (UTC)
  • Lando Calrissian—update tag. CC7567 (talk) 02:06, June 16, 2010 (UTC)
  • Thesme sector—redlinks in the infobox. CC7567 (talk) 21:37, June 16, 2010 (UTC)
    • Not any more.Tommy 9281 01:16, June 22, 2010 (UTC)
    • See second bullet point above. --Eyrezer 01:36, June 21, 2010 (UTC)
  • Apatros—update tag for The Essential Atlas. Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 00:53, June 19, 2010 (UTC)
    • The 1,003 BBY date mentioned in the article is also likely wrong. --Imperialles 17:26, June 25, 2010 (UTC)
  • Kaleb Darme—Underlinking, intro needs expanding, it has a ref note in the infobox. Per WP:S, it must be sourced. JangFett (Talk) 01:42, June 21, 2010 (UTC)
  • Gor - Update, assuming this is correct. Toprawa and Ralltiir 23:51, June 25, 2010 (UTC)

Stuff to talk about

Attendance

Yeah

  1. Chack Jadson (Talk) 18:48, June 11, 2010 (UTC)
I have something that morning, but I should be able to make it. (Assuming that the infobox times are right, of course.) CC7567 (talk) 21:40, June 11, 2010 (UTC)
  2. :D JangFett (Talk) 23:22, June 11, 2010 (UTC)
Ideally. Toprawa and Ralltiir 17:11, June 14, 2010 (UTC)
  3. Looking good, for once. Grand Moff Tranner Imperial Department of Military Research (Comlink) 23:24, June 24, 2010 (UTC)

Naw

  1. Most likely not. (Curse you, Chack! :P) I'll leave notes. CC7567 (talk) 23:04, June 11, 2010 (UTC)
  2. BAH! Seeing as I'm going to be in an airplane at the time, I don't think my attendance is very likely. Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 00:21, June 14, 2010 (UTC)
  3. It seems as though Chack likes being the only one guaranteed to attend these meetings :P Once again, RL takes precedence.Tommy 9281 01:18, June 22, 2010 (UTC)
  4. Unlikely. Grunny (talk) 05:07, June 22, 2010 (UTC)
  5. Also unlikely, regretfully. I'll leave notes. Toprawa and Ralltiir 22:01, June 24, 2010 (UTC)
  6. Still lacking home internet. Notes will appear below. - Cavalier OneFarStar(Squadron channel) 15:47, June 25, 2010 (UTC)

Comm'nts

  1. Cav's Comm'nts:
    • No work done on Roche-blah-blah-blah. Kill.
    • Probe Q9-X2, Akanah, Second Battle of Abridon, Lando, Apatros, Kaleb Darme
    • Keep Tjulan Kwaad, Vo Lian, S'yito, Ordo Skirata
    • Is Jhor-Kai comprehensive now? If so, then keep. If not, probe. Either way, there is a reffing problem that needs fixing in the notes and references section.
    • Thesme and Lol sectors; if no further work is to be done on them in the future by Eyrezer's own admittance, then I see no reason not to kill outright for the time being. However, I will go with the majority on this one. - Cavalier OneFarStar(Squadron channel) 16:02, June 25, 2010 (UTC)
  2. Jujiggum
    • Kill: that Roche thing
    • Probe: Q9-X2, Akanah, Second Battle of Abridon, Apatros, and Kaleb. I'll try to update Lando soon for Allies, but for now it's probably best to probe to motivate me to get around to it. :P
    • Thesme and Lol can be probed if other people see fit or if anyone speaks up about wanting to work on them, but I have no problem with killing them outright.
    • I still have a few things left on Jhor-Kai, and I left my remaining objections on Eyrezer's talk page; unless those issues are fixed before the meeting, I vote probe
    • Keep: Tjulaan Kwaad, Vo Lian, S'yito, and Ordo
    • Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 17:25, June 25, 2010 (UTC)
    • Added note: Probe Gor, too. Jonjedigrandmaster (Talk) 00:26, June 26, 2010 (UTC)
  3. Darth Tommy
    • No need to reiterate what was already said above. My notes are the same as Cav's.Tommy 9281 17:57, June 25, 2010 (UTC)
  4. CC
    • Just pick Cav's or Jon's votes for me; they both say the same thing. :P CC7567 (talk) 19:37, June 25, 2010 (UTC)
  5. Toprawa:
    • Kill Roche
    • Probe Q9-X2, Jhor-Kai, Ordo Skirata, Second Battle of Abridon, Lando Calrissian, Apatros, Kaleb Darme, Gor
    • Probe Thesme and Lol sectors. There is no such thing as killing outright. We need to stick with procedure and give them a proper probationary period for others to potentially fix them.
    • Probe Akanah Norand Goss Pell on the majority of points raised by Jang. However, I question the need for a P/A, since she doesn't seem like a true Force-user, though I don't know the material at all, so that should be discussed at the meeting.
    • If any other item comes up, I leave my vote with Chack. Toprawa and Ralltiir 00:23, June 26, 2010 (UTC)
  6. Gruns:
    • Kill: Roche
    • Probe: Q9-X2, Jhor-Kai, Ordo Skirata, Second Battle of Abridon, Lando Calrissian, Apatros, Kaleb Darme, Gor, and Akanah Norand Goss Pell
    • Also probe Thesme and Lol sectors, per Tope. No reason someone else mightn't update them while they're probed for a month.
    • Grunny (talk) 01:34, June 26, 2010 (UTC)
