While it keeps snowing around the world, the AC gathers for the thirty-first meeting, taking place on Saturday, January 15th . We're starting at 4 PM EST (9 PM UTC) in our warm cabalistic IRC channel… Now that the Christmas holidays are over, it's time to stop being lazy and start being active again. :P As always, absentees are requested to leave notes.

  • Malak (Rodian) - Several things. Firstly, Galaxy Guide 11, which prides itself on taking place in 10 ABY, states that Malak is 36 years old as of that time. 10 - 36 = a DOB of 26 BBY, not 25 BBY. Secondly, there's nothing in the sourcebook that I can see suggesting that the in-universe "TracSheet" profiling the character is compiled by the New Republic. If anything, I would say it's meant to imply Imperial categorization based on the identical "Imperial TracSheet" example provided in the book. Thirdly, this just doesn't make any sense: "and kept a record on her activities using the TracSheet 11706900-AGTY-233476." Malak is categorized as "TracSheet Subject: 11706900-AGTY-233476."   • Dengless Rinn - Galaxy Guide 11, which is set in 10 ABY, states Dengless Rinn is 45 years old as of that time. 10 - 45 = a DOB of 35 BBY, not 39 BBY. Other portions of this article are apparently written on the presumption that the sourcebook is set in 6 ABY. I will quote from the book itself: Galaxy Guide 11: Criminal Organizations is set approximately six years after Return of the Jedi. This all needs revision.   • Reorganization of GA page. There have been brief discussions over IRC about doing something with the "Conjecture" subsection for "Individuals." We'll throw out some ideas and see what works best. Toprawa and Ralltiir 23:38, December 31, 2010 (UTC)
  • AC Reviewing Award. Xd recently posted the 2010 reviewing statistics, and I thought it would be neato if we could cook up some kind of official award to give to whomever, AC member or otherwise, does the most reviewing at the end of each year. This would ultimately be an unofficial preliminary discussion, as awards will need a formal CT now to be "site official" since we no longer have the award proposal page.
