I checked The Essential Atlas today in search for Apatros and it was not listed. There was mention of the system in the back, but it was the same exact information that can be found in Star Wars: The Essential Atlas Online Companion.
As for the 1003 BBY date, it says in Darth Bane: Path of Destruction that Dessel left Apatros in 1003 BBY. At the time, ORO was still controlling the planet. Nothing has been mentioned regarding the matter since, so the "As of" statement would be correct.
I've removed the {{Update|[[The Essential Atlas]]}} and I vote to keep the Apatros article as a "Good Article." Nighthawk205 20:31, July 23, 2010 (UTC)
