A Wookiee death-duel was a form of combat that could be undertaken by two members of the Wookiee species.[1] Sometime between c. 8 BBY and 2 BBY,[2] the Corellian Han Solo and Augustus Graves, Chief Executive Officer of the Corellian Engineering Corporation, witnessed a Wookiee death-duel between the bounty hunter Krrsantan and Chewbacca, Solo's smuggling partner, who had arrived to save him. The Wookiees engaged in unarmed combat, but Chewbacca ultimately defeated Krrsantan with a thermal detonator.[1]
