The Wodnakki was a legendary creature said to have inhabited the moon of Dxun. It migrated to the planet Onderon where it nested atop the great rock formation known as "The Dagger" and terrorized the villagers of Dox Piter with its young. The beasts were finally slain in a confrontation with Queen Lina and her Royal Guard.
History
A massive, winged creature said to resemble a mutated Skreev, the Wodnakki was native to Dxun, the moon of the planet Onderon. At some point during the reign of Queen Lina, many years before[1] her death in 3630 BBY,[2] the Wodnakki migrated from Dxun to Onderon and settled on the rock spire known as "the Dagger," which was situated next to the Onderonian villages known as Dox Piter.[1]
The Wodnakki proved too difficult for the villagers to drive off, and its eggs soon began to hatch, spawning newborn creatures the size of an average humanoid that began raiding the villages. When word of the Wodnakki reached Queen Lina, she gathered her Royal Guard and took the fight to the Wodnakki atop the Dagger. After several hours, the Wodnakki and its young were dead, but only Lina and her injured officer Deja Nebet survived, and the story of the clash became a famous Onderonian tale in the years that followed.[1]

The Wodnakki was mentioned in the Codex entry "The Dagger at Dox Piter" in the 2019 video game Star Wars: The Old Republic: Onslaught.[1]
