Deja Nebet was a female Human who served as the senator of the planet Onderon during the Galactic War with the reconstituted Sith Empire.

Biography

Born on the planet of Onderon, Deja Nebet grew up as a staunch believer in the values of the Republic, while also being fiercely proud of her homeworld's traditions and people.

Before she became the planet's senator in the Galactic Senate, Nebet served as an officer of the Royal Guard of Queen Lina, the mother of the future King Regalun Petryph. During her service, legends say that she was one of two guards who made it out alive after fighting Wodnakki at Dox Piter. Nebet was injured in the battle and had to be carried to a nearby village by Lina for treatment, where she was greeted as a hero. This tale would later become a common story told to Onderonian children for years.[1]

Due to her longtime ties to the planet's nobility and royalty, alongside King Petryph's frequent seclusion and ineptitude, Nebet became the de facto political leader for the planet.[2]

Gameplay alternatives

  • During the Imperial storyline for the Onslaught expansion, when the player storms the capital of Onderon, Iziz, Nebet briefly duels Akoru before killing him with a blaster. She is then confronted by King Petryph, who accuses her of conspiring against him, to which she denies. The player then has the following options:
    • One Dark Side option involves the player kills both Petryph and Nebet from hiding, costing the Empire the chance to claim Onderon's resources.
    • Another Dark Side option involves the player kills Petryph from hiding, leaving Nebet confused.
    • The player steps out from hiding, revealing Petryph's alliance with the Empire. Nebet condemns Petryph for dooming Onderon before the player can order his bodyguards to execute or take her prisoner.
  • During the Republic storyline for the Onslaught expansion, the player meets Nebet as she is standing over Akoru's body. At the end of the Onderon storyline, Nebet thanks the player for helping to apprehend Petryph.
