A wipplebog was a creature that snorted when it was sleepy.[1] Around 233 BBY,[2] when the starship engineer Zepher asked the pilot Nash Durango if she would help a trio of Jedi younglings go on a test flight, she rhetorically asked if a wipplebog snorted when sleepy. When the three Jedi gave her blank stares, Durango explicitly confirmed "yes."[1]

Behind the scenes

Wipplebogs were mentioned in "Squadron," the first part of the sixth episode of the animated series Star Wars: Young Jedi Adventures's first season.[1] The episode was released on May 4, 2023.[3]
