Wing Commander

Wing Commander was a military rank in the Grand Army of the Republic,^[2] Imperial,^[3] New Republic, and Yuuzhan Vong^[1] militaries.

Usage

Although the full rank appears to be "wing commander," a person holding this rank was generally referred to simply as "commander."^[4] In the Rebel Alliance, the rank in Starfighter Command was used interchangeably with colonel.^[5]
