Wilkes was a crewmember aboard the Galactic Republic space station Relay Post Epsilon One in the Galov system during the High Republic Era.[2] In 231 BBY,[1] the Tempest of the Nihil pirates led by Tempest Runner Lourna Dee attacked the relay post in what became known[2] as the Battle of Galov.[3] When the Nihil began boarding the station, Wilkes reported over the comms to Controller Macken that the station's crew could not hold them off, but was killed while speaking. Macken attempted to get a response from Wilkes, but failed. Macken and Raleigh survived the battle due to the intervention of Jedi and Republic Defense Coalition forces.[2]
