Wicket the Ewok was a short-lived toy line released by Kenner in 1984 as part of the Kenner Preschool division. It was aimed at younger children and meant as a tie-in to the then-upcoming Ewok movies and Ewoks cartoon series.[1] Besides figures that came packaged with and playsets and vehicles, the line included coloring books, games and other toys.[2]
The character designs of the figures were cartoon-like, though they did not exactly match the animated series designs.[1] This toy line was sold at the same time as the Return of the Jedi toys, and a more traditional action figure line based on the Ewoks animated series followed in 1985.
