- "Hello Cularin. On behalf of the effulgent and most non-abrasive Thurm Loogg, the Cartel officially denies any knowledge of any reports being submitted which may serve to undermine confidence in the Jedi. We are certain that no one has any cause to be thinking the Jedi are anything but capable and competent, despite the numbers of them that have died in recent months. We are equally certain that just because Master Lanius Qel-Bertuk has structured the Almas Academy in ways that directly violate key precepts of the Jedi Order, he will not be subject to any disciplinary action."
- ―weluvcularin, posting on the Cularin holonet node
The handle weluvcularin was used during the Clone Wars by an employee of the Metatheran Cartel as a user ID on the Cularin holonet node. Following the circulation on a Cularin holonet node forum of an intercepted report from an unspecified party highlighting concerns regarding the operation of the Almas Jedi academy, several users speculated that the report was a hoax and the contributor puesso highlighted similarities with Metatheran Cartel texts. In response, on behalf of Thurm Loogg,[1] the Cartel's envoy to the Cularin system,[2] weluvcularin posted on the thread a rebuttal of the claims of Cartel involvement in the intercepted report. The user further affirmed that the Cartel retained confidence in the Jedi Order despite recent Jedi casualties and highlighted a view that the methods of Jedi Master Lanius Qel-Bertuk,[1] headmaster of the Almas Jedi academy,[2] were contrary to the tenets of the Jedi.[1]
