Wellig Yuns was a human Jedi Knight[5] lived during the High Republic Era.[6] In 132 BBY,[3] Yuns was briefed by Jedi Knight Yord Fandar on a mission to Khofar to locate secluded Jedi Master Kelnacca.[4]

While hiking through the forests of Khofar, Yuns stated that they had lost track of their Tynnan tracker, Bazil. However, the team eventually reached Kelnacca's shelter as night began to fall and demanded the surrender of anyone inside. Unbeknownst to them, a mysterious stranger approached them from behind. Yuns ignited their lightsaber in response to the Stranger drawing his blade. Charging him, Yuns was flung back by a powerful Force push. In the ensuing battle, Yuns was the first to be slain by the Stranger. Their corpse was then found by a disoriented and startled Osha.[7]
