General Weir was a humanoid individual who served as an Imperial officer and pilot in the Galactic Empire during the Imperial Era[1] that lasted from 19 BBY to 5 ABY.[2] Weir was equipped with black Imperial Storm Commando armor modified with a dark red visor and red rigged shoulder and chest straps. During combat missions, Weir flew a TIE/IN interceptor.[1]

Behind the scenes

Weir debuted in the current Star Wars canon in Star Wars: Starfighter Missions, a 2020 mobile video game.[1] The character originated in the Star Wars Legends continuity, first appearing in the second issue of the comic book series Star Wars: X-Wing: Rogue Leader. The issue was written by Haden Blackman, illustrated by Tomás Giorello, and published by Dark Horse Comics[3] on October 26, 2005.[4]
