Wayuning

Wayunings were a sentient species that lived in the galaxy. Topi Topi was a diminutive member of the species from Ardennia who by^[1] 34 ABY had a bounty placed on their head for stealing a Kowakian monkey-lizard from the Creature Stall in Black Spire Outpost on the planet Batuu.^[1] Topi Topi later attended the Festival of the Ancestors on the planet Pasaana^[2] in 35 ABY.^[3]

Behind the scenes

A Wayuning first appeared in the 2019 sequel trilogy film, Star Wars: Episode IX The Rise of Skywalker.^[2] The species was identified as part of Star Wars: Batuu Bounty Hunters, an augmented reality video game launched at Walt Disney World^[1] on July 27, 2022.^[4]
