"We came to this system to study the possibility of setting up a long-range communications relay station. [...] Our leaders thought a relay station of our own could be a good investment, [...] It would be available to all—for a suitable fee, of course—set up on an unclaimed world that could nevertheless support the necessary operational crew and their families."
―Captain Fsir[1]

Several individuals were the leaders of the Watith sentient species.[1] In 18 BBY,[2] Captain Fsir used the leaders in an explanation for his activities in the Chaos to Chiss Senior Captain Mitth'raw'nuruodo (core name "Thrawn"). The explanation stated that Fsir had been sent by his leaders to his location to set up a Communications triad for "a suitable fee" to all nations in the region.[1]

Behind the scenes

Fsir appeared in the 2021 novel Thrawn Ascendancy: Greater Good, the second volume in the Star Wars: The Ascendancy Trilogy written by Timothy Zahn.[1]
