The wampa cave,[3] also called the wampa's ice cave, was located in the Lanteel Glacier[1] on the planet Hoth. It was where Luke Skywalker was brought after being captured by a wampa, who killed his Tauntaun. Skywalker was later able to escape, defending himself by slicing the wampa's arm off with his lightsaber.[2]
