Vvaw was a planet[3] located in the Vvaw system, a part of the Calaron sector[1] in the Slice portion of[2] the Outer Rim Territories.[1] Jedi Master Jmmaar, a member of the Viraanntesse species[3] that originated in[4] the Expansion Region's Viraanntesse system,[5] hailed from Vvaw.[3]

Behind the scenes

Vvaw was first mentioned in Curtis Saxton's 2005 reference book Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith Incredible Cross-Sections.[6] The 2009 reference book The Essential Atlas placed the Vvaw system, and therefore the planet itself, in grid square U-9.[2]
