Vornskr Company was a company of clone troopers within the Grand Army of the Republic that was led by Jedi General Morningfire during the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems. During the war, the company participated in a rescue mission to the Unknown Regions planet O'reen, aiming to save the captured crew of a Republic military exploration ship; the mission ultimately resulted in the death of the planet's ruler.
Description
A company of clone troopers[1] within one of the Grand Army of the Republic's battalions, Vornskr Company was made up of four platoons, totaling 144 clone troopers along with support personnel.[3] Sharing its name with[1] the vornskr, a Force-sensitive beast that could hunt using the Force,[4] the company was led by Jedi General Morningfire[1] and a clone trooper captain.[2]
History
Vornskr Company participated in a rescue mission on the Unknown Regions planet O'reen (pictured).
During the Clone Wars between the Galactic Republic and the Confederacy of Independent Systems, a Republic military exploration ship, searching the Unknown Regions of the galaxy for Confederate supply depots, came across the planet O'reen, home to the militant, Near-Human O'reenian species. Due to the ship's captain's lack of training in first contact protocols, a violent misunderstanding occurred, resulting in the capture and enslavement of most of the ship's crew.[1]
Following these events, Jedi General Morningfire led a rescue mission on O'reen with the troopers of Vornskr Company, which led to the death of the planet's ruling Magnus. As a consequence, the Galactic Senate voted to quarantine O'reen in order to keep its population under control and to stop it from sharing military secrets and supplies with the Confederacy.[1]

Vornskr Company was mentioned in The Unknown Regions, a 2010 hardcover supplement for the Star Wars Saga Edition roleplaying game.[1]
