Von Tante was a male thief who resided in Kijimi City on the planet Kijimi, and was a contact of the smuggler Tarand Crowe. After Spice Runner of Kijimi Poe Dameron helped Crowe escape the Kijimi summit, the smuggler directed him to Tante's quarters, where Tante and a medic tended to his injuries. After several days, Tante requested that Dameron leave.[1]
