Vomba was a male Weequay pirate who lived during the Cold War. In 3643 BBY, he had been caught by bounty hunters and was being handed over to Imperial Corrections at Mezenti Spaceport on Nar Shaddaa when his gang rescued him from custody. Imperial forces under Captain Heedley cornered Vomba along with his gang and attempted to negotiate with the pirates. However, talks ended with an Imperial diplomat being killed, prompting Heedley to ask Imperial-aligned spacers to kill the gang.^[1]
