Vis was associated with an individual who held the title Earl of Vis. A cousin of the old king of the planet Naboo, the earl built a banqueting rotunda in Naboo's capital city of Theed.[1]
Behind the scenes
Vis was first mentioned in the current Star Wars canon in the "Guide to the Galaxy" department of the 24th issue of the De Agostini magazine Star Wars: Build the Millennium Falcon,[2] published around June 17, 2015[3] and written by Tim Veekhoven.[4] In the Star Wars Legends continuity, Vis was first mentioned in the 2000 reference book Inside the Worlds of Star Wars: Episode I by Kristin Lund,[5] and was depicted as a city in the 2001 video game Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds.[6]
