- "Hey Kordo, got word from that kid Maranda's gotten grabbed by the Ashiga Clan. Left six pounds of bacta in our old safe house. Have a look - and if you make a sale, I want my finder's fee, buddy."
- ―Vipsha in a transmission Jet Kordo
Vipsha was a criminal that was active during the Republic Era and worked with Jet Kordo. At somepoint they were contacted by Maranda who was looking for help selling six pounds of synthetic bacta on Kijimi. Vipsha turned them down noting the Ashiga Clan's control over Kijimi and that Maranda should cut their loses but Maranda ignored their warnings and was grabbed by the Ashiga Clan leaving the bacta in Vipsha's old safehouse. Vipsha later contacted Jet Kordo to inform them about Maranda and the bacta.[1]
Copies of at least four transmissions between Vipsha were captured by equipment that remained in orbit above Kijimi through the end of the Galactic Republic and into reign of the Republic's successor, the Galactic Empire.[1]
In 3 ABY,[2] the four transmissions were discovered by the scoundrel Kay Vess and later[1] that same year, Vess's companion, a BX-series droid commando named ND-5, was able to use the transmission along with several other Clone Wars–era transmissions to track down a Separatist base on the Outer Rim jungle planet of Akiva.[1]
Behind the scenes
Vipsha's voice appeared in four collectible transmissions in the 2024 video game Star Wars Outlaws developed by Massive Entertainment and published by Ubisoft. The four collectible transmissions, titled "Maranda's Mistake 01" through "Maranda's Mistake 04", were part of the "Separatist Transmissions" expert intel quest which eventually leads the player to MT-7, one of nine experts who the player can complete quests for in order to gain various abilities.[1]
