Vheks were creatures found[1] on the Mid Rim planet[2] Qiilura that were known to be preyed upon by packs of gdans.[1] In 22 BBY,[3] the Gurlanin Jinart asked the Omega Squad's clone commandos if they had ever dragged an intact vhek home for a meal, indicating that gdans worked together to catch one of the creatures and then dragged their bounty away via large tunnels.[1]

Behind the scenes

Vheks were mentioned in the 2004 novel Hard Contact, the first novel in the Republic Commando series written by Karen Traviss.[1]
